Syrian Chemical Weapons – The Self-Evident Lies and Finally the Truth!

Several days have now passed since the US led missile strikes on three sites within Syria, as retribution for the Syrian Army’s earlier alleged use of chemical weapons against rebels in Douma (Duma), in Eastern Ghouta, one of many outlying districts of Damascus. The United States and her allies claim that these attacks have seriously degraded Syria’s ability to produce chemical weapons. They claim for example that a facility at Barzeh on the outskirts of Damascus, which was destroyed during the missile attacks was a centre for the ‘research, development, production and testing of chemical weapons, and these assertions have been countered by Russian and Syrian spokespeople claiming the sites attacked were not used for chemical weapons production at all.

So who is to be believed?

The buildings that were destroyed at Barzeh are adjacent to the campus of the Higher Institute of Applied Sciences and Technology in Damascus and when viewed from Google Earth, could actually be a part of that campus, and so it is conceivable that the buildings destroyed served an educational or broadly scientific research function, or indeed they could as Western intelligences sources claim, be a sinister appendage to the Higher Institute of Applied Sciences and Technology, specialising in producing highly toxic military grade chemical and biological substances.

It would appear that Western intelligence claims, accepted unreservedly by Prime Minister Theresa May and Presidents Trump and Macron, are that the buildings destroyed at Barzeh were the Syrian equivalent of the MoD chemical weapons research facility at Porton Down, near Salisbury in Wiltshire.

However, if we examine these two sites from the aerial images provided by Google Earth, we find that while the Porton Down facility is very wisely located at least 3 kilometres away from any significant residential areas, the nearest being Amesbury, just over 3 kilometres away, the site at Barzeh is as little as one tenth of that distance, between 300 – 500 metres away from the northern suburbs of Damascus — suburbs containing apartment blocks, schools, the Hospital Ahmad Hamish, several mosques, shopping centres and restaurants. This would tend to suggest that while extremely dangerous substances are manufactured, studied and stored at Porton Down, the chemicals produced at Barzeh are rather innocuous by comparison, one might even suggest, harmless.

It is possible of course that the real function of the facility at Barzeh has been concealed from the Syrian people and that those kept in ignorance, living and working in the northern suburbs of Damascus have been exposed to grave danger – the kind of danger from which the residents of Wiltshire have been thoughtfully protected by the far-sighted benevolence of the MoD. One can imagine that if a stray missile were to strike the MoD facility at Porton Down that any manner of noxious, corrosive and highly toxic substances would be released into the atmosphere and would be a grave danger to residents in the surrounding area.

One is therefore caused to consider the plight of the residents of the northern suburbs of Damascus and what has become of them now that the facility at Barzeh has been so comprehensively destroyed?

Did the US led attack cause clouds of noxious, corrosive and highly toxic substances to be released, potentially killing hundreds or thousands of Syrian civilians? And if so, was it not rather remiss of them to take the action they did in view of the risk to civilians, especially as the missile strikes were ostensibly carried out to prevent the use of chemical weapons against those civilians?

Thankfully, we have had no reports of deaths or even injuries to civilians and this therefore leads us to question, whether chemical weapons were being researched, developed, produced and stored at Barzeh at all? Surely the explosions caused by the missile strikes would have scattered residue from the stores of chemical and biological weapons to the four winds, if indeed they existed, or perhaps the precision of the American, British and French ‘smart missiles’ is such the Allies can guarantee that every scrap, every toxic milligram of the noxious, corrosive and highly toxic substances allegedly produced and stored there was consumed in the flames?

It has to be said that the probability of the latter does not seem very likely.

Luckily, in the aftermath of the missile attacks last Saturday, there is video footage of the destruction caused at Barzeh and the clear-up operation carried out by Syrian government forces the following day.

When one views the video reports, one of them by intrepid US network correspondent Seth Doane on behalf of CBS, one is struck by the lack of protective clothing worn by the fire fighters and other officials and the operatives assessing the damage. Instead of HazMat (hazardous materials) suites of the kind worn by British Army personnel involved in the clear-up in Salisbury following the recent poisoning of Sergei and Yulia Skripal, the Syrians filmed at Barzeh are dressed in army fatigues and ordinary civilian clothing. This is so for the Syrian fire-fighters also, the Syrian officials as well as Seth Doane and nothing untoward appears to be happening to them. There is even footage of a firefighter standing in a billowing cloud of smoke rising from the smouldering ruins. It is as if they know there will not be any contamination of the site that might kill or injure them.

In the report by Seth Doane, he interviews a Syrian scientist who he refers to as Syed, and Syed tells him that the site was used only for the production of everyday pharmaceuticals. Syed stoops at one point to pick up a cardboard box from the ruins and shows it to Seth. It is a box that had contained ‘Lyophilized Antivenom-1’, an antidote used in the treatment of poisonous snake bites.

 

Our conclusions therefore are as follows:

The Barzeh site located as it is close to civilian residential areas of Damascus, would not appear to have been designed or built with the kind of safety concerns in mind that the designer of a chemical weapons facility would had uppermost in their mind;

The Syrian government seem to be unconcerned about any potential release of noxious, corrosive or toxic substances from the Barzeh site;

The Syrian Fire Brigade and the Syrian Army were not equipped with HazMat suites and appear to be unconcerned about any potential release of noxious, corrosive or toxic substances at the Barzeh site causing harm to their personnel; and

Intrepid US CBS network correspondent Seth Doane, appears to have been unconcerned for his own safety while filming at Barzeh within hours of the missile attack. Furthermore, there have been no reports of him subsequently being suddenly taken ill.

It is as though all these people knew there were no chemical weapons and no equipment, machinery or raw materials contaminated with chemical or biological weapons at the Barzeh site, and furthermore, if Western intelligence had evidence that the Barzeh site was being used for chemical and biological weapons production, why have they not previously alerted the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) so the site could have been examined and so that Syria’s alleged chemical weapons capability could have been exposed in accordance with international law and treaty?

Western intelligence claims are that Barzeh was a site used for the ‘research, development and testing’ of chemical weapons, but based upon the above evidence this would appear not to be true.

Lastly, if Western intelligence cannot be trusted over something like this, can we have any trust in them at all, and should we give credence to any claims that Bashar al-Assad has used chemical weapons against his own people?

Should we also not give credence to claims that Sergei and Yulia Skripal were attacked using nerve agents allegedly supplied by the Russians?

What we know about the British government is that during the Blair and Brown administrations, Third World immigration into Britain increased massively, contrary to the known wishes of the vast majority of the British people, and that this was deliberate, and that it was intended to transform our nation creating a population that is so multiracial and multicultural that such changes would be irreversible. We know also that the ‘dodgy dossier’ produced under the Blair administration and upon the veracity of which we went to war against Saddam Hussein’s Iraq, was a tissue of lies.

Today, we can look back on successive Conservative administrations claiming the intention to reduce mass immigration into Britain and yet doing nothing to achieve that aim. We can also look back on successive Conservative administrations claiming that it is in the national interest for British forces to become embroiled in the Syrian civil war on the side of the rebels and yet we can see with our own eyes the falsehood of their claims.

Clearly there were no chemical weapons at Barzeh, and clearly the rebels we are being asked to support are known past affiliates of Al Qaida and ISIL, two organisations that have been responsible for terrorist attacks in Britain. Clearly also, by facilitating mass immigration from the Third World, the British government is not acting in the interests of the indigenous British people, so why should we believe them now when they claim that the missile attacks on Syria were in our national interest?

We need a revolution in British politics, the liars and con-artists must be exposed and eventually swept away to make way for a new breed of politician, patriotic and loyal to the British people and exhibiting the kind of honesty and integrity that used to be the by-word for those in public office in this country. God speed that revolution!
