Golden Dawn Demo, a Roaring Success!

By Max Musson:

GD DemoYet again, British nationalists have assembled outside the Greek embassy in Holland Park, London, to demonstrate our support for the Greek nationalist party Golden Dawn and to protest at the repressive measures employed by the Greek government in their attempts to suppress the voice of the Greek people.

Surprisingly, it was a most enjoyable day and it was good to see such a good turnout of brave individuals to an event that involved for some a direct confrontation with Red counterdemonstrators. Particularly impressive was the number of women among our number and the contingent from the Polish nationalist party, Narodowe Odrodzenie Polski* (NOP), who had come all the way from Poland for the event and who were highly animated and vocal in expressing their support for Golden Dawn, their solidarity with the cause of British nationalism and their hatred of the Reds.

Congratulations to Eddie Stampton and Piers Mellor for organising the event again this year, showing that they are a formidable duo as far as nationalist activism is concerned in our nation’s capital.

Congratulation also to all of our speakers who delivered their speeches in the face of howling opposition, especially Kevin Layzell and the group who came with him, who had arrived at the Greek Embassy ahead of the main party and who stood their ground and defied intimidation from a much larger Red mob.

Hopefully, there will be more nationalists in attendance should we need to stage a similar demonstration next year. In these times when many of us despair for our nation it is cathartic and invigorating to occasionally get out onto the streets and give voice to our anger and frustration and it brings disparate nationalist groups together in comradeship providing a sense of common purpose and common cause, both within Britain and abroad among our continental folk comrades.

Below are videos of the speeches made in support of Golden Dawn and in the order delivered. Unfortunately the beginning the first speech was omitted from the videoing, but a draft of the full speech features further below:

Below is a draft of my full speech, which was ad libbed to a certain extent and therefore not necessarily delivered verbatim:

Greetings Comrades!

We are here today to demonstrate solidarity with our Greek nationalist brothers of Golden Dawn.

For most of us Golden Dawn appeared from comparative obscurity to suddenly explode onto the political scene following their successes in the 2012 Greek parliamentary elections when they had first twenty-one, but later eighteen MPs elected.

Despite the slight setback in the second round of elections that year, Golden Dawn still maintained approximately 6.9% of the vote – a giant step forward for the party in that year as a whole.

Since that time we have seen the Greek state instigate a wave of high level arrests of Golden Dawn officials using alleged association with the killer of Pavlos Fyssas as a pretext for trumped up charges.

As a result, Nikos Michaloliakos, the Leader of Golden Dawn; Christos Pappas, the Deputy Leader; and Yannis Lagos, head of the Athens district of the party have languished in jail  for more than a year.

Despite these repressive measures Golden Dawn has not collapsed and has not been diminished. In fact the party went on to poll 9.4% of the vote in this year’s Euro elections and secured the election of three MEPs – their first MEPs and another political milestone under their belts.

Golden Dawn are a racial nationalist party and in terms of the numbers of candidate elected in national and parliamentary elections have enjoyed a similar level of electoral success to that of UKIP here in Britain, and many in this country may have wondered what it is that makes the difference between Golden Dawn and racial nationalist parties here in Britain in terms of electoral success?

In the 2009 European parliamentary elections the BNP for example attracted 6.3% of the popular vote compared to the 6.9% of the popular vote achieved during the 2012 Greek parliamentary elections by Golden Dawn.

The answer to the above question is to a great extent down to the system of proportional representation used in the Greek parliamentary elections.  When the BNP at its height contested elections such as the London Assembly elections and the European parliamentary elections, both of which operate on the basis of proportional representation, it was possible for the party to get candidates elected, but the BNP were never successful  in our national elections with our ‘first past the post’ system. Success under our first past the post system has so far eluded all nationalist parties in modern times and it is not since the general election of 1918 that nationalist MPs have been elected to Westminster.*

Proportional representation explains why Golden Dawn and many continental nationalist parties appear to be so much more successful than British nationalist parties, and of course for them, success in their national parliamentary elections brings with it public funding, something which gives smaller parties on the continent a great boost.

It is instructive to see that following Golden Dawn’s continued electoral successes in this year’s European elections, the Greek government moved to deny the Golden Dawn MPs the parliamentary privileges that were their due under the Greek constitution and moved to deny the party further public funding.

Secondly, the Greek economy suffered to a far greater extent than the British economy during the Credit Crunch and the recession that followed. Unemployment levels are therefore far higher in Greece and the austerity measures introduced by their government have been far more severe than anything imposed upon us here in Britain.

As part of the Euro-zone, the Greeks have been unable to relieve their economic situation the way we have in the UK.

The global capitalist system is built on debt slavery, and when a country is so indebted that it can longer make its debt repayments and at the same time maintain the nations standard of living and maintain essential public services, there are only two ways out of that situation of looming bankruptcy: severe austerity measures; or quantitive easing (QE), i.e. the printing of more paper money, thereby reducing the value of our currency and consequently the effective cost of carrying  the nation’s debt burden.

However, to employ QE a nation must first have control of its own currency, which the Greeks do not, and this is why both Britain and the USA were able to stabilise their economies without recourse to draconian austerity measures, while Spain, Portugal, Italy and crucially Greece were not. The harsh economic conditions, the austerity that the Greeks have therefore suffered has significantly radicalised the Greek people and Golden Dawn have benefitted greatly as a result.

The third factor contributing to the success of Golden Dawn has been their commitment to community politics. They didn’t just explode out of nowhere in 2012, they had spent over thirty years since their founding in 1980 building community power bases. They are not just a nationalist political party, they are also a socialist party and it has been their social policies providing support for the poorest of Greeks that has won them much public support.

Lastly, and it is this factor that won Golden Dawn so many admirers from around the world, they have pursued their aims with great élan, adopting without compromise much of the style and iconography and attitude that made nationalist, national socialist and fascist movements of the mid 20th Century so appealing, and which speak to the soul of their people in a way that mere words never can.

The clamp-down on Golden Dawn by the government of Antonis Samaras and the arrests of the three leading figures from within the party, are clearly politically motivated and the charges they face contrived to serve a political purpose.

In a meeting earlier this year between Ilias Kasidiaris of Golden Dawn and one of the most senior advisers to the Samaras government, Takis Bultakos, Bultakos admitted that the prosecutions were politically motivated in response to electoral gains by Golden Dawn that were robbing Samaras’ New Democracy party of votes. Bultakos however did not realise that the meeting had been videoed and when the video was subsequently released on You Tube, he was forced to resign his government position and as I said earlier, support for Golden Dawn rose among the Greek electorate.

Clearly, the imprisonments have not so far worked and Golden Dawn have shown strength in depth that the authorities never bargained for. The stakes are too high for faint-heartedness. Like us and all other European nations, the Greek people face penury through unrelieved debt at the hands of the international financial system, they face political obliteration under the bureaucratic tyranny of the EU, they face economic ruin at the hands of the oligarchs and the multinational corporations of the New World Order and they face racial obliteration through mass Third World immigration.

These are common threats against which we all struggle, but we nationalists know that our struggle is not just about striving for political power, our struggle is a matter of life or death for our nations and therefore we cannot afford to fail, we must not fail and we while we have strength in our bodies we must fight on and on until we achieve salvation!

The repressive measures imposed by the Greek government upon Golden Dawn show clearly how supposedly democratic governments have no scruple in their efforts to thwart the growth of nationalist movements and prevent our ascent to power, employing as they do, every dirty trick in the book — stop at nothing.

Against our comrades in Golden Dawn however, their efforts have so far been futile, and we take great heart from this and must learn from their example.

We and our Greek brothers and sisters in Golden Dawn have a message for the nation wreckers and a message of hope for our peoples, that in our efforts to secure our freedom and self-determination, we will not slacken, we will never falter, never lose faith, and we will never give-up!

* Narodowe Odrodzenie Polski, translates as: Polish National Revival. Their websites are: www.nop.org.pl and www.europeannationalfront.com.

* In 1917 a National Party was formed by disillusioned conservatives and they stood twenty-six candidates in the 1918 general election, two of which were elected as Westminster MPs. Sadly the National Party was dissolved just a couple of years later.

Another great day out with Western Spring and other like minded people. It was particularly heart warming to meet up with a contingency of nicely mannered, yet determined, Polish youngsters.

I fully the support the Greeks here, I have a family connection and friends who have been stitched up by the blasted EU.

Congratulations to all you brave patriots. The video of your demo, proving our side moving forward out front. The excellent actual video itself, putting our side in control of our freedom message. What total inspiration. Finishing with patriotic anthems blaring = tops !!

‘… when a country is so indebted that it can longer make its debt repayments and at the same time maintain the nations standard of living and maintain essential public services, there are only two ways out of that situation of looming bankruptcy: severe austerity measures; or quantitative easing (QE) …’
    .
There’s a third method, which is to take over a country’s assets, I think you’ll find. As one example, after WW2 the British Empire was essentially dismantled and given away.
    .
And a fourth, to allow mostly Jews to instal something like the Fed, and take over the country’s money system.

No Rerevisionist, you are not quite right there. The military and administrative costs involved in maintaining the empire were one of the ‘public services’ that we could no longer afford if we were to manage the debt repayments forced upon us by lend lease. The loss of empire was therefore a form of ‘austerity’ in which our nation was forced to give up the benefits that otherwise might have accrued to us from the empire we had built.
      .
As far as the Federal Reserve Board is concerned, I am not aware that its creation was in return for a reduction in the US national debt? Furthermore, even if it was, the sacrifice by a nation of sovereignty over it’s own money could also be regarded as a form of ‘austerity’. Austerity can be regarded either as a loss of national income, or as a loss of a national asset, if the loss of that asset impoverishes the nation.

I forgot to mention that occupiers can of course extort cash. Germany is still occupied and gives billions, notably to Israel of course for the ‘holohoax’.
        .
The British Empire: I’d love to know the costs and benefits of the Empire. I suspect (as with the Boer War) that a well-known minority benefited, offloading the cost onto the majority. As far as I know, the empire had built up a lot of assets: gas, water, electricity, buildings, schools, roads and so on. These were lost. Not quite the same as suspending military rule.
        .
The Fed was founded in 1913, after much behind-the-scenes manipulation, I think in particular of Wilson. This of course predates the huge catastrophic world wars. The Fed allowed Jewish owned banks to print paper money and get interest on loans to the government at effective rates of interest greater than these weekly loan companies we have today. If this is done with other countries, there’s a similar massive gain to be made. Hence no doubt war against Gaddafi, threats against N Korea, interest in China etc.

    So very true.
    .
The National Socialist movement was, for most of my life, until very recently, a bogey man, a horror story, what with it perpetrating the so-called “Holocaust”. Something that I now know to be actually a Holohoax. I have come to realize that we’ve been deeply duped by organized jewry through its stranglehold of the media that we are forced-fed nonstop.
    .
    Support Golden Dawn.
