Australia Nearly 25% Non-European as Indians become Single Largest Source of Immigrants

The Third World colonization of Australia has continued apace and up to 25 percent of the population there is now of non-European origin, according to an analysis of new immigration figures released by the government.

The report, titled “Australia’s Migration Trends 2011-12,” also revealed that Indians, not Chinese, now make up the single largest group of immigrants to that nation.

According to the report, at least six million of Australia’s total population of 22,5 million were not born in that country.

The report goes on to say that the vast majority of these are from non-European nations—and that even those who are, are dwarfed by the second and third generation born Third World immigrants and their descendents who are not officially classified as “born outside Australia.”

In effect this means that the white European element of Australia’s population has declined from over 90 percent only a fe decades ago to around 75 percent.

Australia’s combined migration and humanitarian programs totalled 198 757, an increase of 8.9 per cent  on the 2010–11 figure (182 452).

China was number two as visa places fell from 29,546 to 25,509 last year.

During the same time United Kingdom arrivals rose to 25,273 from 23,931.

Immigration Minister Brendan O’Connor said Asia is becoming the leading source of permanent migration.

“Seven of the top 10 source countries in 2011-12 were located in the Asia region,” he said in a statement.

During the past 15 years, the number of Indian-born Australian residents has increased fourfold while Chinese-born residents have tripled.

Of this, 93.1 per cent came under the Migration Program (184 998)—68.0 per cent through the Skill Stream (125 755), 31.7 per cent through the Family Stream (58 604) and 0.3 per cent under  Special Eligibility (639)—and 6.9 per cent through the Humanitarian Program (13 759).

For the first time India was the main source of new permanent migrants to Australia, accounting for 15.7 per cent of  the 2011–12 Migration Program, up from 12.9 per cent on the previous year.

It also reflected the trend towards an Asian Century with India and the People’s Republic of China the two main source countries for permanent migrants through the Migration Program.

Also reflecting the emergence of an Asian Century is that seven of the top 10 source countries in 2011–12 were located in the Asia region.

In addition to this regulated migration, 44 304 New Zealand permanent settlers came under the Trans-Tasman Travel arrangement, 28.2 per cent more than in 2010–11.

For 2012–13, the overall size of the migration and humanitarian programs is set at 210 000 places, comprising 129 250 Skill Stream, 60 185 Family Stream, 565 Special Eligibility and 20 000 Humanitarian places.

Business (Long Stay) visa grants grew by 38.8 per cent, and all top 10 source countries experienced increases in 2011–12 compared to the previous year. The Working Holiday Maker Program grew by 15.6 per cent to 222 992 grants, the highest number on record.

An ongoing Seasonal Worker Program was established from 1 July 2012, building on the benefits of the Pacific Seasonal Worker Pilot Scheme which concluded in June 2012.  The new program will make 12 000 visa places available over the next four years for seasonal workers in certain Pacific island countries to work in low-skilled jobs for up to seven months in a 12-month period.

In 2011–12, inflows of international students increased by 1.0 per cent to 253 047 visa grants, the first rise since the peak in 2008–09. The decreases in Student visa numbers in 2009–10 and 2010–11 followed 11 consecutive years of growth in the visa program.

In 2011–12, there were 7379 refugee status determination requests for asylum seekers who arrived to Australia by boat, a rise of 42.6 per cent on the previous year.

Since 2006–07, this figure has grown substantially from only 23 requests to an average of 5715 requests in the last three years.

In June 2012, the Australian Government announced the appointment of an expert panel to provide a report with advice and recommendations to prevent asylum seekers from risking their lives on dangerous boat journeys to Australia. The report was released in August 2012 and the Government agreed to all recommendations in principle.

The implementation of these recommendations was immediate, including the increase of Australia’s 2012–13 Humanitarian Program to 20 000 places, a rise of 45.5 per cent on the previous year.

Since September 2005, Net Overseas Migration (NOM) has overtaken natural increase as the main component of Australia’s population growth.

For the year March 2011 to March 2012, NOM added 197 200 people to Australia’s population, or 59.5 per cent of growth, an increase of 18.2 per cent from the same period the previous year.

Official Population figures from the report:

Estimated resident population (ERP) of Australia (as at 30 March 2012): 22,596,500.

ERP Australia-born population (as at 30 June 2011): 16,294,980.

ERP overseas-born population (as at 30 June 2011): 6,029,070.

Natural increase (at 30 March 2012): 149,600.

Net Overseas Migration (NOM)—preliminary estimate for the year to March 2012: 197,200.

Australian citizen NOM departures—preliminary estimate for 2011–12: 92,500.

  1. It’s clear that Brits leaving for Oz and NZ, to escape multiculturalism and the pointlessness of life here, are wasting their time running away. The two countries are less crowded than we are, but on those figures appear to be in the same position, or perhaps just a few years behind.

Yes you may guarantee pleasant weather, perhaps a larger house for your money, but the fact is, your family, in the long term, will have to put up with an increasingly multicultural society again. The weather and space, you thought you left the UK for, will not matter to you, once local hospitals and schools are covered in Hindi, Arabic, and Mandarin translations. These Indians and Chinese will be working harder to secure a social standing, and it will be them who in a few years, own all the local estate agents, convenience stores, restaurants and solicitors firms, etc.

The only rather significant difference I see is the lack of Africans there. This does of course make a huge difference to crime rates. Also, it’s the Africans most likely to date outside their race, so there may be less mixing in Australia, for a little while longer.

    1. I would agree with you but also I understand the cost of living is very high in Australia especially in the cities.
We need “Anglo-Australian Alliance” to comment on this as I assume they would have first hand knowledge of the present situation.

  2. In America I think it was 1964 when a particular immigration act was passed & the bias against European immigration started & non white immigrants were encouraged.
The same must be true of Australia, that at certain moment in time an immigration act was passed so as to encourage Asians to enter the country & set the bar higher for Europeans, no more £10 poms.

You seem to be putting this as starting “…only a few decades ago to around 75 percent.”
Which means it should be possible to find who promoted & supported that change & what the reasons were for wanting to change the non Aboriginal make up of Australia.
So that population would become Asian rather than European.
Would you find Jewish or zionist types having had supported & pushed this agenda?
That seems to have happened in the US & would the same thing be found in Australia?
Here when you look at the Blair years & mass immigration under his regime, you find zionism for sure.

    1. After the war Australia appeared to have a white Australia policy, but that was by default as it consisted of a monoculture, it was in fact a European culture so the fact it was white was a coincidence . It was at the end of the Vietnam war which Australia with pressure from the US was a participant to take many of reffos fleeing the North Vietmanese . Many of these reffos escaped to the States and Australia, but fotunately not to the UK as the UK did not take part in that war.

Pressure was also being put on Australia as with the European nations and the UK by the United Nations to take much of the Third World dross. Australia is no different to Europe they are easily shamed into taking African immigrants or the thousands of boat people that float in each year. Being seen as racist is much worse that being accused of being a religious heretic or a pedophile.

There is an simple answer, The Government could mine the seas adjacent to Australia, and put their small number of submarines to practical use. Problem solved. Australia is a BIG country and 2 million Moslems spread over a large country is barely noticable but the problem is that like Fire ants or rodents they build nest in tight but large communities . .

This is a tragedy. Australia was seen not so long ago as a British country which would be settled by Britain’s surplus population, thus relieving population pressure in the then all-white, all-British UK while strengthening Australia’s links with the home country.

In 1954 an opinion poll revealed that the majority of Australians rejected the idea of a separate Australian identity in favour of remaining British. Immigration was very largely restricted to people from the British Isles, and even the admission of post war refugees from the Baltic countries had to be carefully sold to the Australian public on the grounds that these people were – and looked – north European.

The “white Australia” policy which had been in force since Australia became independent in 1901 was gradually stretched to include steadily darker peoples, including Turks, Egyptians and Lebanese who, suitably polished up and in the right light, might be passed off as sort of, well, er,….”white”. In 1973 the policy was formally abandoned; it is significant that 1973 is the year in which Britain joined the then EEC, now the EU, thus shutting the door in the face of Australia and forcing that country to look elsewhere for its sense of identity.

Steve, above, has asked if Zionist forces were behind Australia’s disastrous shift from a European country to an Asiatic one, and the answer is that Jewish interests were much involved in the groups that pressed for a multi-cultural Australia.

“Populate or die” was the slogan when Australia saw herself as a European country threatened by the “yellow peril” from the north. “Populate AND die” would now seem more appropriate.

    1. Thanks for that, the Lebanese in Australia seem to be the equivalent of Pakistani’s here & certainly don’t seem European to the rest of us.
So Australian cities see the same problems ours do.

Adding to my earlier comment, Australia suffers as we do from a metropolitan liberal elite, ashamed of the country’s traditional identity as a robust working class British society transplanted to the south Pacific. A “cultural desert” they called it because it lacked oriental cuisine and Balinese batik-weaving, so they set about changing it into something completely different from what Australia had always been by changing the people themselves. Traitors, in other words.

On a side note, I do sometimes wonder why it is necessary to create a new cuisine by importing people rather than a cookery book?

      1. But are they ashamed of European Australia or was that just a poor excuse to import non whites & they intended all along to destroy the white element?
Will a Jewish elite continue to do well in an Asian dominated Australia, will moslems continue to increase there?
There is an argument to be had about whether Australia should be white or Asian or something else or that it belongs wholly to the Aborigines.
But it’s never going to be handed back now, though the Aborigines hopefully will be left with areas to live in undisturbed but a lot of damage was done to them.

  4. Australia shares the same problem with the US in that what should it be, white or not?
Who has the most right for their culture to dominate?
The indigenous population certainly have come off second best & I guess in future whoever dominates will win, the whites don’t seem to have the will to win.

Well it shows how long the White Australians been forced upon by their vile Marxist Labour party. Well it seems if any White person flees Europe to Australia, they will not escape multicultimarxism because its been spread to many White nations of the World. This is why the zionist governments are guilty and always be guilty for the genocide of the White Race in our homelands.

But the problem is theres loads of Whites which are brainwashed by the zionmarxist media. When are the Whites ever going to wake up? 🙁

  6. Everyone on this thread is on the right track. There are many similarities between the UK and Australia. That is not surprising given our common heritage. We have made the same mistakes as a result.

Actually I believe we are worse off than the UK. At least the Brits have a conservative party(s) in politics. Our choice is between a Marxist Labor (yes we even spell it the wrong way) Party, and a gutless Liberal Party which really is “liberal” in the worst possible sense. We are so naïve here, many Australians keeping referring to the Liberal Party as “the Conservatives” so we are hoodwinked into thinking there really are viable choices. Here, we live in a country of great natural wealth, but it is squandered by governments of all persuasions.

I agree that we need to develop and maintain our international connectivity between like-minded groups in the UK and Australia. It would be a way of resisting forces both here and in the UK that try to divide and destroy us. Please see my post under “Religion”. WE need a plan.

    1. If you were resident in the UK Robert, you would realise that our Conservative Party really is just like your Liberal Party. The real difference in the UK is that we have two liberal parties and coincidentally they are now working together in the same coalition government.
