The Fall of Western Man by Mark Collett – a review.

Most nationalist political treatises begin with some form of declaration defining the audience that is being addressed, followed by a statement of beliefs and then proceed to an analysis of the external factors that threaten the ethnic interests of that target audience. They explain the flaws present in current government policy, the errors that have been committed and how these errors adversely impact upon us. There is an almost unwritten assumption that the essence of our dilemma relates to things that are done to us by others, rather than things we do to ourselves, but in his first ever book, The Fall of Western Man, Mark Collett adopts a unique approach, explaining the existential issues confronting the West from an entirely fresh perspective.

Mark uses Freudian psychology to explain how a vulnerability within the human psyche has become the Achilles heel of Western nations, and how this vulnerability causes us to damage ourselves and our communities — how this vulnerability provides our enemies with a key that can be used to gain an advantage over us — and what we need to do in order to create societies that protect us against the effects of that vulnerability.

The first two chapters might initially appear to be heavy going, involving as they do an explanation of the concepts within Freudian psychology. There is discussion of the Id, the Ego and the Super Ego, but if we read on, Mark provides an outstandingly simple explanation that any lay person should be able to grasp and understand. Indeed, that is one of the cardinal characteristics of this book, Mark’s adherence to the principle of ‘keeping it simple’!

Mark fully understands that good communication is all about what the reader understands, rather than the writer appearing erudite, and I have nothing but admiration for the way Mark takes the reader by the hand and leads us all the way through the woods and down the garden path to home, using common sense analogies and specific examples to illustrate and fix in our minds the lessons we all need to learn.

Having given us a grounding in psychology, Mark explains to us what a perfect society should be like, and compares it with what we have today. He explains to us how modern ersatz culture panders to the Id and suppresses the Super Ego, causing all of the social dysfunction that afflicts our nations in the modern era. Mark discusses in depth how feminism has led to the breakdown of the family unit, and how single parent families then have a knock-on effect removing the influences that contribute to a healthy self-image for us both individually and collectively.

Mark explains how the damage done to the Super Ego of the individual translates into damage to our collective Super Ego and how this is causing the decline of Western civilisation in so many ways.

Finally, Mark deals with the quest for redemption. He demonstrates how conservatism, libertarianism and Hollywood style Nazism all fail to address the psychological key that will lead to true salvation and redemption for our people.

Very cleverly, Mark avoids any direct references to race or to the Jews without any loss of traction as far as the reader is concerned, and in doing so avoids any possibility of our enemies describing his book as ‘hate speech’. Quite the converse, this book is written from the perspective of someone who understands the key issues of our time and is motivated by a love of his people and a desire for us to achieve salvation.

I cannot recommend this book highly enough. With this book Mark has earned his spurs as a teacher of men in the Biblical sense, and I am filled with renewed hope for our people knowing that such wisdom and clarity of thought and purpose could have emerged from a man so young and whose own introduction to nationalism was such a torrid experience. Bravo!

    Well, well! now that certainly provides us with profound solutions to stopping brown and black savages killing us. i take it that none of those folks live in his neighborhood. no better example right at the moment than the violence at the inauguration today in WDC. Beating on women, bashing cars and store windows–yes indeed, we can reflect on our redemption while they destroy everything that they cannot steal.

    I’ve got to read this book. I’ve felt, for some time, there’s an inherent flaw in European psychology that leads to our current, extententail crisis. Mark is a smart man. Read the book.

    Mark is on the nail here.
    With so much ‘finger pointing’ towards various and certain ‘outgroups’ as being the cause of Western man’s current plight, “The Fall of Western Man” offers an honest, refreshing insight into our current predicament, but ultimately what Mark has done here, is to show that the onus of responsibility lies squarely upon our shoulders.
    This is not to say that there aren’t hostile outgroups as Mark says, but that unless we as a cohesive homogeneous group can be the only ones to rectify our problems.
    Hostile outgroups can only expose and manipulate faults and weaknesses inherant within our societies.
    It is our task to identify those areas of weakness and bolster them.
    Whilst identifying hostile outgroups and their methods is important, what is more important is that we do not get stuck at the ‘finger pointing’ stage of development. Not because of any deference shown those hostile groups, but because a problem until owned will always remain a problem. We can only affect change from within. That is to say, a social revolution must happen first, at the individual level.

    Janet Mills in effect asks the very reasonable question, “How does a psychological insight into our plight as White men and women help our defense when a more immediate threat is imminent? I look forward to reading the book for an answer.
