By Max Musson:
Counter terrorist police have been called in to investigate a fire at a north London mosque following suspicions that the fire may have been the result of a racially motivated attack.
It is still unclear quite what started the fire at the Al-Rahma Islamic Centre, in Muswell Hill, north London, but graffiti daubed on the building, reading ‘EDL’ has raised suspicions that members of the English Defence League may have been responsible.
Tommy Robinson, the leader of the English Defence League, denied the group was reponsible for the attack, and is reported to have written on Twitter: “There were 26 fire bombings in Luton with graffiti saying EDL? Guess who was arrested for it? Muslims! Sorry if I’m sceptical.”
The fire was reported at around 3.15 this morning, and no one was injured in the fire, although one woman from a nearby property was treated for shock by the ambulance staff.

As much as I don’t like Tommy Robinson, I’m inclined to agree with him on this occasion if that “tweet” is true.
I have never heard of any “right winger” being done for destroying “Cultural centres”.
Often when an unsuitable building like a church or pub burns down, it is then is replaced with a proper purpose built building that suffers no further serious attacks, that I have heard of.
Maybe this is the start of reaction to what goes on but I doubt it.
If we hear little further about it, then it wasn’t the EDL or anything similar.

I trust that there was a building insurance policy. If there was would it be covered for riot or terrorist activity?
More grants are likely to be given for a bigger better mosque with fortifications in any case.

Do we yet know if this was actually arson rather than African style electrical wiring? The letters on the wall may have no connection with anything.

The cause of the fire is as yet unknown. The EDL connection is based solely on the initials sprayed on the wall and may amount to nothing in the fullness of time.

Yesterday this was all over the news. EDL being blamed, rightwing revenge blah! blah! blah! Today. NOTHING. If the MSM still thought that this had ” right wing ” involvement they would be all over it. With the press going quiet it would appear that the police know who is responsible and passed this information to the MSM and their masters have told them to back off. An insurance claim possibly?

Tensions rise after fire?
Really, amongst who?
Are the locals that bothered?
Are the moslems going to turn violent & seek revenge?
Surely that’s not what the headlines are meaning.
I like the way these places are usually called “Cultural centres”, a classic piece of PC jargon making something sound bland & unthreatening.
Anyway I suggest seeing what replaces this building, will it be a full blown mosque with minarets, calls to prayer?

Looking on street view the building was fairly bland but with big letters saying Bravenese Centre on it, which would not mean much to most people, so the arsonist must be local or have that detailed knowledge.
It was said that the hall was used mainly by kids after school but whose kids?

Is this revenge or is somebody trying to give moslems a bad name?
At least one has been arrested so it’ll be interesting to see what his name is.
You can tell a lot from a name.
