Last weekend more than twenty of the most experienced and influential people in British nationalism met under the auspices of a ‘Leaders Conference’ in order to discuss the current parlous state of our movement and to determine the best way forward.
Our aim was to explore ways in which we could, as a movement composed of disparate groups, benefit from the synergy to be had from working together on joint projects and from the sharing of knowledge, ideas and resources. It was hoped that we could identify and initiate a process of gradual convergence towards a position of organisational unity across the whole nationalist movement.
The conference was organised and sponsored by Western Spring, and ran like clockwork, the only problem encountered being issues with travelling arrangements that meant certain individuals found themselves unable to attend.
During the conference, delegates discussed a wide range of issues relating to organisational structures, regarding funding methods, and strategies for winning power. Some of the discussion was hard-hitting, no punches were pulled and at times delegates did not hold back from criticism of the Western Spring approach and of our performance to date.
Opinion was divided between individuals who believe the electoral route to power is closed to nationalists political parties for the present and foreseeable future, and those individuals who still believe that despite the implacable antipathy shown towards nationalism by the media and other opinion forming sections of society, it is still possible to succeed electorally in the current socio-economic climate.
One of the key issues addressed at the conference is the tendency within certain nationalist circles to denigrate and character assassinate leading individuals within rival groups — the tendency to denounce anyone and seemingly everyone of note within nationalism as an agent of the secret state and it’s proxies, Hope-Not-Hate, Searchlight etc. Other than in a very small number of well known cases proven beyond reasonable doubt, it was unanimously agreed that the vast majority of such accusations were groundless and merely the product of paranoia or mendacity on the part of certain individuals.
It was unanimously agreed that such mutual denigration and character assassination between nationalists is to be deplored and that we must all take measures to prevent this kind of thing in future. Such behaviour is responsible for the current climate of suspicion and mistrust that currently blights our movement, hindering the progress of all groups and parties. It is the equivalent of ‘poisoning the well from which we must all drink’, and when certain individuals defiantly continue this deplorable behaviour it is more a sign that it is they who should be suspect, and not the people they slander.
It was generally agreed that while no specific proposals for a formal move towards movement wide unity were formulated, the exchange of ideas had been beneficial and the conference had brought together some groups and individuals who had hitherto not enjoyed good relations. Most significantly throughout the weekend, and despite some robust debate, the conference remained good humoured and there was no antagonism between delegates.
It is possible that further such events may be staged periodically and further efforts should be made to encourage attendance by those groups and individuals most notable by their absence on this occasion. Generally the feeling among delegates was very positive, they had enjoyed the event and had made new friendships, and that Western Spring were to be congratulated for taking this initiative.

I was delighted to be asked and included in this unique opportunity. What was apparent from the start, was the desire by all attending, to achieve the same goal. It was highly positive with new bonds, friendship and support being made by the end of the weekend. We all had so much in common that getting together in this manner to listen and respect, other leaders views and stance, can only drive us forward and solidify the nationalist movement. With every single one of us, having been given such an opportunity to speak our minds and be frank and honest, it was rewarding, knowing we all had our say and it was respected. It was a wonderful weekend in so many ways. I thank and congratulate Max for the professional organisation, where every one of us enjoyed fine dining and luxury surroundings. I look forward to the next one, to seeing old friends, new friends and colleagues again and another positive step to achieving our goals.

Hello Ironkraft, Western Renaissance were not included because from what I can make out there is no organisation as such, just a desire to form an organisation at a future date, should sufficient donations ever be received. I don’t know who would make that decision when the time comes and furthermore, Tom Sunic is based in the USA and your organisation appears to have no UK based leader who could attend a Leaders Conference.

I listened to Tom Sunic speaking at a London Forum meeting a few months back and he made no mention of Western Renaissance or his role as Ambassador. In fact the only prior knowledge I have of Western Renaissance comes from you occasionally trying to draw my attention to the minimalist website that never appears to be updated.

I would certainly like to endorse Julie Lake’s comments on the Leadership Conference. A good leader is someone who allows his followers to excel in what they do best. A poor leader would be someone who tries to impose a dogma without regard to the wider picture and ultimate purpose of their organisation. Through ‘Western Spring’ Max Musson has afforded us a situation in which patriots can prove their worth according to the strength of their own individual contribution.
In many ways the symbol of the ‘New Right’ is most apposite. The symbol shews 8 arrows in the shape of a cross pointing outwards in different directions from a central axis. For example, one essential direction is fund raising. Another direction is the outward bound activities of the ‘Legion’. The ‘Legion’ also has all the challenges and advantages of a Youth Movement without young people feeling that they’re being corralled into an exclusive role. Other directions include media and publicity, building communities and citadels wherein our own folk can flourish and from whence we can fight back politically to reclaim our nation.
The variety and quality of the talent shewn at the Conference was most encouraging. We had young, hard line street activists alongside those who would caution a less militant, more diplomatic approach. The important thing is that we have learned how to coexist in the struggle for Britain, our culture, and our racial future.

Nationalism’s greatest enemy is the Media,directed by its governments, that’s the way it has been since WW2 throughout the UK and Europe. It is carefully orchestrated vilification. It is IMPOSSIBLE to compete with the biased media, print or TV.
Nationalism in the West has no friends when a NEW EUROPEAN SOCIETY is being planned.
The enemy are the Corporate World, the people who control the worlds wealth, and its military and any colour of politics left of centre.
It has taken 70 years for the nation wreckers to arrive at this point, it is going to take longer to repair the terrible damage. It will help us when the vested interested bought and paid for broadsheets disappear because of being unviable at least we might be just on the edge of a level playing field. A funded Internet channel with input from Nationalists reporters and journalists from around the world explaining the skulduggery Governments are up to, and how the people are being duped might help.
