The only party shown to have risen in popularity over the summer is the, staunch nationalist party, Golden Dawn.
The party are regularly attacked by the controlled media for their commitment to restoring the interests of Greek people to prime position, ahead of the interests of international bankers and foreign economic immigrants.
The poll indicates that Golden Dawn are up from 6%to 8% support amongst voters while the current second largest party, Pasok (Socialists), have fallen in popularity from 12% to 9%. The ruling party, Syriza (Radical left) are shown to have fallen from 26% support in June to 22% in September.
This rise in popularity comes amid concerted efforts by Golden Dawn to help the numerous unemployed by distributing food, paid for by their allowance of 3 million euros per year that they are allocated by the political party funding laws of the Greek government.
Another contributor to increased GD support is left-wing opposition to the popular “Operation Xenios Zeus” which has expelled thousands of illegal immigrants in August alone (As reported by Western Spring here)
