By Max Musson:
As the dust settles and the nation breathes a sigh of relief following the referendum on Scottish independence and as the various establishment political parties announce their plans in the wake of this historic event, there is still cause for those of us who hold dear the ultimate survival and well-being of our people, to be concerned about what the future holds.
Prior to the referendum in Scotland various commentators, disturbed by the promises of new powers to be granted to the Scottish parliament in the event of the ‘No’ vote were already raising once again, what has previously been called the ‘West Lothian Question’, but which has now been renamed the ‘English Question’. Their argument was that if the Scots, the Northern Irish and the Welsh have their own parliamentary assemblies with ‘devo-max’, that is, the maximisation of devolved legislative powers, then it would be unfair for Welsh, Irish and Scots MPs to vote at Westminster on matters that only concern England.
The solutions generally considered for this anomaly have ranged from the introduction of parliamentary rules at Westminster restricting voting on English matters to just the English MPs, to the creation of a new English national parliament, like those set up in the other three constituent parts of the UK. This latter solution being the option preferred by English nationalists who believe that such a parliament will pave the way for the emergence of a heightened sense of nationalism among the English people. It is evident however that our political establishment, in line with long-term EU plans, have other ideas, entirely.
A full week before the outcome of the referendum in Scotland had been decided, Nick Clegg the LibDem leader and Deputy Prime Minister was already making statements to the effect that whatever the outcome of the referendum, there was the need for the ‘decentralisation’ of England in line with the new powers that have been promised to Scotland and which the Welsh and Irish assemblies would also demand.
For the likes of Nick Clegg, responding to the ‘English question’ was not a matter of restructuring the UK in line with feelings of nationalism within the four constituent nations, oh no, that would be just too ‘ethnocentric’ a solution for our political establishment and their masters in Brussels, their preferred way forward is to dismember the UK in line with the 12 European ‘regions’ that the UK has been divided into by the EU.
They seek to ignore the obvious inconsistency in their plans – granting full independence and/or ‘devo max’ to Northern Ireland, Wales and Scotland, areas that are delineated by feelings of ethnic and/or national identity, while imposing a completely artificial dismemberment upon England, contrary to English national aspirations, and dividing England up into ‘regions’ that have no historic, cultural or ethnic basis whatsoever.
On Friday 12th September Nick Clegg gave a major speech on this topic when he helped launch a report on ‘decentralisation’ in England prepared by the centre-left think tank the Institute for Public Policy Research (IPPR). The report sets out a 10-year timetable by which powers can be devolved to English cities and regions.
According to the Guardian newspaper, the plan identifies 40 different functions of government which need to be devolved and covers powers and budgets held in 13 different Whitehall departments.
The report argues for fiscal devolution to be a central plank of the 2015 Comprehensive Spending Review, with five-year funding settlements agreed and an independent body established to take forward further central-local funding reforms. It argues ultimately for property taxes and business rates to be devolved to combined authorities and, eventually, a proportion of income tax to be assigned to them.
Nick Clegg reportedly said: “I think it is really good we are devolving more power to Scotland and to Wales. But what about England? What about Manchester and Sheffield and great places like that? Why cannot they have more say about their own affairs? People are dead right: the status quo cannot carry on. We cannot have this very welcome process of devolution to the nations of the UK but somehow keep England centralised.” He evidently does not recognise England as one of the nations of the UK!
A number of post-referendum documentaries have been aired on British television in recent days and it is noticeable that they are all repeating almost verbatim these words uttered by Nick Clegg, thereby demonstrating that calls for the dismemberment of England have been orchestrated and that the decentralisation of much legislative power is being devolved down to the EU regions into which Britain is to be divided, in line with long-standing and wider EU plans.
If we look closely at the Institute for Public Policy Research, we find that despite being a ‘left of centre’ think tank, their largest sponsor is the JPMorgan Chase Foundation and interestingly, the European Commission is their second largest sponsor. Not just the European Commission however, the money donated comes from the commission’s “Thematic programme of cooperation with third countries in the areas of migration and asylum”. Furthermore, IPPR’s smaller sponsors include: the International Organisation for Migration, and the Migration Foundation. Hmmm, interesting!
I have discussed in earlier articles the reasons why the EU wish to dismember Britain and I have alluded to the unintended opportunities that such dismemberment may offer our movement if we play our cards right. No one who identifies as an English nationalist however, should be fooled into thinking that there will be any opportunities provided by our political establishment for elections to an English parliament. Facilitating the promotion of English nationalism is definitely not on the establishment agenda.

Yes Max another sharp analysis.
Yet another regionalist party joins the fray.
https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/the-northerner/2014/apr/24/yorkshire-first-new-political-party-euro-elections
“Yorkshire First has been set up by business adviser Richard Carter, who is currently living in Oslo and working in Germany. ”
Suprised ? Mr Carter doesn’t even live in Yorkshire , let alone England.
He added: “As I don’t live in Yorkshire it is hard to comment on what the electorate there are thinking. ”
Well you don’t say Richard , you don’t say. Not much different from the other bunch in Westminster then.
The chaos that this breakup would usher in would be staggering. Yes , let us capitalize upon that.

Well observed. As an English Nationalist myself I’m wary about this new talk of devolution, because, simply, anything that is good for us is bad for the establishment, and vice versa.
.
I think we’re going to see techniques increasingly employed whereby the British/EU state sows the seeds of disharmony between different areas of England. We’ll see articles talking about “how different Yorkshire and Devon are”, culturally. There will probably be BBC documentaries examining the strife between the Kingdoms of old England. There may even be ‘new scientific finds’ examining the genetic disparity between East and West, North and South.
.
If they can’t dissolve England into the rest of Europe (and they clearly know that they can’t), then they’ll shatter her into pieces instead.

I dont see how it affects our movement. We all know the EU will make a grab for power and eventually see any part of their deceitfully constructed empire that wishes to secede as a threat and take military action. What matters is that the plan this website has set out continues and that we ensure that in case of several English regions seceeding or the UK on the whole, we have the ability to affect our fate. If we gain power in post power grab regions, we have to ensure that we have enough young men and materials capable of repelling an EU army. Besides that I can’t see the UK ceasing to exist for a few years yet and we need as much influence as possible either way. As a Roman legionary cohort would do, dont let anything distract you, don let the taunting of the other side cause you to abandon your position, stay calm, keep your scutum (shield) raised, ready your gladius and keep on marching no matter what is thrown at you or how dire the odds.

Yes, it is England that is to be dismembered, balkanised, and consigned to history. England – one of Europe’s historic nations – isn’t deemed worthy of a parliament of her own by the British political class.
But let it be known there is one group of people above all who are to blame for this, and it is the Scots. Scottish politicians in Labour and elsewhere have held a consistently anti-English agenda for years, and it is the Scots who I hold accountable for the plight of my nation.
White solidarity is all well and good, but don’t tell me to see the fucking Scots as comrades-in-arms, when it is they who are the enemy England must deal with first.
