Legion Summer Camp
We are delighted to announce the forthcoming Legion Summer Camp, which will be held on the weekend of 19th – 21st August at a site of outstanding natural beauty in the North of England. The itinerary for the weekend will follow a familiar format for those who have attended these camps before, but the content has been ramped up in intensity to reflect the attendance of celebrity martial arts instructors and our desire to make…
Another Electoral Debacle!
An article featured on the Heritage & Destiny website, begins: “This week’s elections have been a disaster of historic proportions for the British nationalist movement, forcing a serious rethink of our whole strategy and organization”, and clearly, while it does not please us to say this, the results detailed in that Heritage & Destiny article are a vindication of the strategic approach that we at Western Spring have been advocating for some time now. The…
Jonathan Bowden Oratory Award – and the winner is?
On Saturday 30th April at the London Forum, I had the pleasure of announcing the 2016 winner of the Jonathan Bowden Oratory Award, and this year’s winner is Alex Davies of National Action, the prize being awarded for the speech he made in February this year, also at the London Forum. The announcement was met with applause and there was general agreement that Alex shows great promise as a speaker, having already developed his abilities…
Winter Camp – A Great Success!
The fourth and arguably the most successful Legion MAC Camp event, in association with Western Spring, took place last weekend, starting on the evening of Friday18th March and running through to the afternoon of Sunday 20th. The 2-3 day residential camp took place at a surprisingly sunny Midlands location, and almost forty young and not-so-young physically active nationalists took part in a variety of activities designed to promote good health, physical fitness and personal advancement,…
Tommy Johnson – 2016 Jonathan Bowden Oratory Prize Nominee
The fifth nominee for the 2016 Jonathan Bowden Oratory Prize is another of the leading lights of National Action, Tommy Johnson, who delivered the following speech at the 2015 National Action Annual Conference. In this speech Tommy speaks at length about the strategy that National Action pursue, and he outlines this strategy at a measured pace, with clear enunciation, and emphasis, but what comes across most strongly is his sense of mission, not just for…
Nationalist Unity: A Report
Recently, five Nationalists from three groups met in Portsmouth with a view to co-operating in the advancement of the Nationalist Cause. The three groups were Western Spring, Pie and Mash Squad, and the New British Union (NBU). It was immediately evident that the Pie and Mash Squad are a close-knit group consisting of long-standing friendships (it is clear they have each other’s backs), and so it was especially heartening for myself and the NBU lad…
James Mack – 2016 Jonathan Bowden Oratory Prize Nominee
In response to popular demand, I am pleased to announce James Mack as our fourth nomination for the 2016 Jonathan Bowden Oratory Prize. James made the following speech at the London Forum in February 2016 and reflects a steady improvement in his speaking style. James’ speaking style is clear, well enunciated , and employs repetition, emphasis, metaphor and simplicity, being both entertaining and the embodiment of the ‘KISS’ principle, keeping it simple, so that his…
You Say You Want a Revolution?
Many of the nationalist groups in Britain, who recognise the futility of electioneering, have instead embarked upon a campaign of street protests in the hope that by this means they will be able to effect political change. These groups hope that by organising demonstrations in which they encourage members of the public to join them in their vocal protests, they will eventually be able to sway government policy or cause our corrupt government to resign…
Alex Davies – 2016 Jonathan Bowden Oratory Prize Nominee
The third nominee for this year’s Jonathan Bowden Oratory Prize, is Alex Davies, one of the founders of National Action, and the speech for which he is nominated was delivered at the National Action Annual Conference in 2015. What makes this speech special is that it lasts for almost 20 minutes and was delivered without notes. Despite this, Alex’s speech flows naturally and with considerable momentum. Alex speaks with passion, using humour, irony and emphasis, and with an evident sense…
Jez Turner – 2016 Jonathan Bowden Oratory Prize Nominee
I am pleased to announce the second nominee this year for the Jonathan Bowden Oratory Prize, the very popular and gregarious Jez Turner of National, the founder of the London Forum. Jez has been nominated for a speech he made on 30th January 2016, which is just one of many speeches he has made during the year and the frequent public speaking practice clearly shows in the ebullient speaking style that Jez has developed. In this speech Jez employs a number of oratorical devices: employing humour,…
