Alexa Rankings II – Good News!

By Max Musson:

On 12th May this years I published a short article pointing out the fact that this website Western Spring had surpassed the website of the Liberal Democrats for popularity, measured in terms of the number of online hits we receive.

Since then there has been some movement in the rankings which has cause most political website to drop down a little and whereas on 12th May we were ranked 15,812th most popular website in the UK, today we have dropped back to the 17,582nd position, which I’m sorry to say is a little disappointing, however, whereas the Liberal Democrat website was position just below us at 15,911th position on 12th May, they have fallen right back to 32,215th position, a massive drop by comparison.

The really good news however is that the Conservative Party website, which was previously at around 12,000th position, has now dropped below us to 19,392nd position today.

Therefore while we nationalists may sometimes feel devoid of influence in these testing times, it is good to know that in terms of activity and interest, this little website of ours can rival those we mistakenly think of as ‘giants’.

Take heart then my brothers and sisters for all is not lost and we can yet prevail against or enemies.

If you have not already done so, then please contact your friends and relatives and tell them about this site so that they too can once again read sane words and go forth with renewed vigour.

While it’s very good to know that our on-line influence now outpaces that of the Libdims and Tories, a ranking by itself does not tell us very much about the reach of that influence, whereas the number of hits would do so. Do we know how many people visit the website each day?

    1. Over the last month we had just over 20,000 hits. This averages out therefore at about 650 hits per day.
