      But as others have said, it’s vulnerable & could be a victim of its own success as people try & claim it for themselves without wanting to put the work in.

    This is encouraging. If Orania continues to thrive, it will have provided the Afrikaners with their only real hope of long term survival as a nation. But “if” is a big word in Africa. Let’s hope and pray that Orania and its brave and worthy people do indeed survive and prosper. This, though, is a bigger matter than just the Afrikaners, it may be that Orania is pointing the way for white survival in all white countries (although Mr. Putin seems to be showing another way in Russia).

    That’s a good video. Smooth, solid, explanatory. I have to say there is a slight tinge of holiday-camp about it, but that is probably because it is a new establishment and looks to be still a fairly close knit community. Those who have moved there are obviously inclined to appreciating why it has to be in existence, which surely helps and helps a ‘we need to build this together’ attitude in the society.

    It is pretty astonishing what can be done when we are left alone and are put in a position of establishing something from scratch. Not wishing to be too detrimental to other peoples on this Earth, especially in Africa, but I simply cannot see them ever doing the same thing to the same kinds of standards. On that, it can only confirm my view that white people tend to be civilisation builders, and most of the rest are civilisation destroyers.

    One of the doubts I have about these kinds of things though, is the point at which a place like Orania grows too big to keep control of the ‘reason d’etre’. No matter how “drilled in” people try and make it in society and the youth.

    Generations pass, masses grow, and I have an awful feeling that “The Fable of the Ducks and the Hens” will come to manifest itself from the Orania population itself, just like in the classic cartoon adaptation of the piece:

    For those not familiar with it, it is a very clever tale of what happens. It needs to be watched and listened to carefully to get the full appreciation and some of the sub plots. It is important to watch it from the start……and then watch out for what could be Orania at around 12:40 onwards.

    If things carry on as they are around the world, ie, without any kind of rebellion or “population transfers” taking place, I cannot ‘ultimately’ see much of an alternative for White people other than regrouping and kissing their indigenous homelands goodbye forever.
    .
    However, I think it is only natural for pessimists to doubt the optimism of such places being perpetually free of influences that lead to a detrimental crumbling, whether that be external or internal. I am cautious and a bit pessimistic in nature, but Orania is certainly an interesting development.

    Orania won’t survive if it remains no more than a snug refuge for racially loyal Whites. All the problems which “British Activism” warns us about will eventually destroy Orania if it doesn’t take one essential step. Its Folk will have to evolve an ideology that has the moral force of a religion. Europeans, throughout the world, now face a struggle for racial survival as never before. Children from Orania will have to imbibe a ruthless ethnocentric faith with their mother’s milk. They will then have to become the political soldiers and teachers for the next generation, and the next generation ad infinitum. Gone are the days when we can afford a purely liberal education. The universalism of Christianity which still plays a key role in Orania will have to be discarded or at least sidelined. From now onwards education will have to be an ideological training ground for racial and genetic advancement. If this sounds extreme it’s no different from what another religious/racial group have practised very successfully for thousands of years.
    Orania’s struggle is of course our struggle, a struggle in which all racial loyalists must fully engage. Whilst accidents of geography will always play a part, the time has come for us to put aside petty national and local differences and think of ourselves as Aryans.

      The thing is that up untill the fall of Apartheid, the Boers managed to rally around a kind of Christianity in which they saw themselves as the “Israelites” and the Blacks as the “Canaanites” of South Africa, thus ensuring the survival of their race, and that in spite of the universalist tendencies of Christianity.

      But I concur, ultimately Whites will have to develop a kind of race-centric religion (and moral) if they want to survive on a mainly coloured planet.
