This morning the Daily Mail and Guardian websites contain articles in which well known Jewish actress and alleged comedienne, Maureen Lipman is quoted as saying that she is contemplating leaving Britain and going to live in New York or Israel, so concerned is she about the rise in antisemitic ‘attacks’ in Britain.
According to the Mail: “Mrs Lipman, 71, said the Jewish community in Britain ‘give, give and give’ and described the recent rise in anti-Semitic attacks as ‘very, very depressing’.
“‘One school of thought says it’s because of Israeli policy in the Middle East, it isn’t. There’s been anti-Semitism for 4,000 years.’
“The Educating Rita actress told LBC Radio: ‘When the economy dries up they turn on the usual suspect the Jew… and when the going gets tough the Jews get packing.”
It is ironic that when Jews as a group are subject to opprobrium for the actions of certain prominent individuals, Jews claim that they should not be ‘group-libelled’ for the actions of a few, but when individual Jews do something laudable, its ‘the Jewish community give, give and give’, as if all Jews are to be held in high esteem for the actions of a few.
It is also ironic that the over-zealous recording of instances of antisemitism by paranoid Jewish groups such as the CST conflates mild expressions of antipathy towards Jews with actual physical attacks in which violence occurs, and many Jews like Maureen Lipman become alarmed by these meaningless inflated statistics, feeding the cycle of paranoia to such an extent that Mrs Lipman is now fearful for her safety. To hear her words one would think that Jews are regularly being attacked and beaten up on the streets of Britain, which is patently not the case.
What Jews like Mrs Lipman fail to appreciate also is that social dysfunction leading to inter ethnic antipathy, is a wholly predictable feature of all multicultural and multiracial societies and it is a great pity therefore that Jews like her have been such energetic proponents of political parties, like the Labour Party, that have brought mass Third World immigration into Britain against the wishes of the vast majority of the British people.
It is notable that Mrs Lipman didn’t end her ‘five decades long support for the Labour Party’ when that party continually advocated the mass immigration of ethnic groups with a history of Islamic extremism and violence. She did not end her support for the Labour Party when PC Blakelock was hacked to death by a black gang during the Broadwater Farm riots in 1985; she did not end her support for the Labour Party when fifteen year old Richard Everett was stabbed to death for no reason by Bengalis in 1994; or when seventeen year old Ross Parker was stabbed to death by an Asian gang in 2001; when nineteen year old Gavin Hopley was beaten to death for no reason by a gang of ten Asians in 2002; or when fifteen year old Kris Donald was kidnapped and tortured and burned to death by a gang of Asians in Glasgow in 2004.
It is notable that Mrs Lipman’s decision to consider leaving Britain comes as a result of the heightened climate of fear for Jews brought about by the killing of four Jews in the recent Paris attacks.
Most ironic of all however, is that Mrs Lipman ended her ‘five decade long support for the Labour Party’, when she felt that current Labour leader Ed Miliband, who is also of Jewish extraction, was not being sufficiently bullish in his support for the Jewish ethno-state of Israel. Furthermore, now that Britain has become a decidedly more dangerous place to live, thanks to all the Islamic extremists the Labour Party have allowed to enter our country, she is contemplating going to live in a country, lead by Benjamin Netanyahu, a man who would be regarded as a ‘right-wing extremist’ if he was a politician here in Britain.
What is disgusting about the reporting of Mrs Lipman’s concerns is that it is implied that her concerns for the safety of the Jewish community are somehow to be blamed on the British people at large, almost as if it is our fault that she no longer feels safe here in Britain. Mrs Lipman claims: “When the economy dries up, then they turn on the usual scapegoat: the usual suspect –the Jew”, and she does so without actually specifying who this ‘they’ are, about whom she speaks — although she refers to ‘tin-pot dictators’ in her interview on the Guardian website and mentions a ‘Mr Farage’. In this respect therefore she is being disingenuous, as the immediate threat posed by the current wave of anti-Jewish feeling in so far as it actually exists, comes from Islamic extremists from within the Asian community, not from the likes of UKIP and this goes to further illustrate the hypocrisy evident within her assertions.
In reality however, Mrs Lipman only has herself to blame for those five decades when she supported the policies of the Labour Party and their part in the creation of our dangerously dysfunctional multicultural society.

Its a great shame I used to like her shows. It is however difficult to ignore the fact that both Karl Marx and Leon Trotsky were prominent Jews from the West who took charge of the Russian Revolution utilising the power of Bolshevik thugs.
Some fear this influence may have been spread by their followers.

So none of this “antisemitism” can be directly connected to “Israel’s” actions in the Middle-East? None of those Palestinians, Jordanians, Syrians or those from the host of other, predominantly Muslim, countries that Israel has attacked directly or used it’s surrogate forces in NATO to do so indirectly?
The Zionist must also understand his or her quest for greater and greater wealth and power will inevitably lead to some form of payback for the sufferings of the millions at whose expense it comes. It is unfortunate that those fairly rare attacks will most likely be against those of their kind who aren’t so greatly protected and have not benefited from those actions quite as much.
Maybe if more of their moderates spoke out against the actions of these megalomaniacs, within their community, things would alter. But it is possible the injustices and sufferings endured are too great for that to happen anytime soon.

As you say Heechee, there does seem to be a lack of empathy on the part of Jewish supremacists for the plight of those whose rights they trample.

You are right also that retribution for the excesses of the supremacists is often misdirected, impacting most heavily on those who are largely innocent, and so it would be in the interests of the moderates to speak out more vociferously than they have so far.

Yes, I’m reminded of an old joke about a mother whose son has recently joined the army and who goes to watch her son’s passing out parade at the end of basic training. Watching the soldiers march past, she turns to her friend and says proudly, “Look at that, they’re all marching out of step, except my Jimmy!” 😀

Was my first reaction on hearing her & others uttering such nonsense, who’s to blame for this state of affairs?
The liberal establishment that she backed wholeheartedly.
I hear some of her type moaning about the bad press Israel gets but who owns that?
It all reminds me of that joke describing chutzpah, where a man kills his parents & then complains about being an orphan.

Jews seem to want everything their own way. This is epitomised by the story (related to me by a Jew) about a Jewish mother who buys her son two ties for his birthday. When she visits him, and out of deference he puts one on, she asks, “What was wrong with the other one?”

I don’t think it’s possible to find a more audacious attitude than that exhibited by the likes of Mrs Lipman. This article just about crystallises their whole mind-set — Who cares who suffers unless it is Jews? Incredible!
