Rotheram Demo – A Pictorial Record

There follows a sequence of photographs taken by one of our activists at Rotherham last Saturday, 13th September, and the photographs illustrate some interesting aspects of the demonstration that day and the police response to it.

While South Yorkshire Police had cancelled all leave and had drafted in a large number of Police Community Support Officers (PCSOs), police motorcyclists, mounted police and Riot police from as far away as Devon and Wales, there were strange anomalies in the deployment of their personnel, with some demonstrators corralled and kettled by lines of high-viz jacketed riot police, while others were allowed to wander through parts of the town centre unescorted.

Even some demonstrators carrying a banner identifying them as supporters of well known nationalist political parties were allowed to parade through Rotherham town centre without the usually obligatory police escort. There was no trouble between nationalist demonstrators and members of the public and this therefore illustrates how disingenuous is the normal police policy of insisting that nationalist demonstrations must be escorted by them in such a way that it hampers the ability of the demonstrators to communicate with the public.

Elsewhere, columns of Police Community Support Officers patrolled the town centre with a very jovial and almost carefree demeanour.

The police had positioned van loads of riot officers at strategic points however, and appeared to regard the English Defence League demonstration as the most likely focal point for any disorder . The following photographs show the dense ranks of riot officers, backed up by cavalry and support vehicles employed to kettle the two thousand or so EDL demonstrators who marched along a previously agreed route to hold a rally in Main Street outside Rotherham Police Station.

Following the weekends demonstrations, Shaun Wright, the South Yorkshire Police & Crime Commissioner has announced his resignation. He had been elected to his current position in 2012, but has also been the Head of Child Services in Rotherham between 2005 and 2010. There has been a campaign calling for his dismissal for and the dismissal of other public figures who must accept responsibility for the failing of their departments who failed to protect the young girls of the town.

The campaign needs to continue until the enquiry into who was directly responsible for the neglect of their responsibilities identifies those who should be prosecuted for criminal negligence.

    It was said during the miners strike that outside forces were used as they weren’t loyal to the area or its people.
    But maybe here there are some signs that not all the police are happy about protecting abusers & enablers from the wrath of the public.
    That they’re not all mindless state drones just yet.

      They agree with it all right. They police were laughing at us when we berrated them for allowing them filthy Muslim pedophiles to target children. I think us nationalists need to set the record straight: we don’t agree with these types of crimes against ANY children. But we also want to send non-Whites home, so these types of anti-White crimes NEVER happen again.

      Trust me, if you announced at a nationalist meeting that the way we were going to get ”our own back” was targeting non-White children for terrible crimes ALL nationlaists would walk out the room, and refuse to have anything to do with that person ever again. We aren’t like that — we want a country were these anti-White crimes CAN’T happen because there won’t be any non-Whites in our country. Any White man or woman in the country who still has a conscience knows what I’m saying is the truth.

    The police do have limited resources of both man power and money; ‘flash’ demos similar to National Action should be coinciding with these ‘agreed’ demonstrations.
