In Memorium – Peter Lake (1944-2017)

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of one of our members, Peter Lake, the devoted husband of Julie Lake. He passed away yesterday evening at about 5:00pm after a long struggle against first, pulmonary fibrosis and then lung cancer.

Peter was born on 10th April 1944. He was an old-school patriot who as a young man served this country in the RAF and enjoyed postings in many places around the world. Later he had a long career as a salesman with Rank Xerox and this is where he met Julie.

Julie was Peter’s second wife. They married in 1992 and while they never had children together, Peter leaves two sons from his first marriage, Barry and Graham.

As a nationalist activist Peter was a modest man who did not seek the limelight but played a very valuable supporting role, providing Julie with the wherewithal to campaign single-mindedly, first in support of the British National Party, and more recently in support of Western Spring and the National Front.

Peter will be missed most acutely by Julie and the rest of his family, but also by the nationalist community in the West Country and by our movement generally. Though sad at his loss, we are relieved that his protracted suffering is now over.

Peter Lake, your service to our cause has been much appreciated, may you rest in peace.

  1. Thank you Max.

The outpouring from nationalists has been amazing. Some drove miles, to see him in hospital. The support i have had, helped me get through this.
Like you, i am relieved, he is at peace now, and will suffer no more. He never complained once though.

    1. I am sure that after a suitable period of mourning, you will, as Peter will have wanted, throw yourself once more into the task ahead of us of saving our people, and that Peter’s memory will be an everlasting source of inspiration for you.
