In the week that the long-running televising of George R. R. Martin’s epic tale, ‘A Song of Ice and Fire’ reached it’s disappointing conclusion, and more than a million outraged ‘Game of Thrones’ fans signed an online petition demanding that the TV script writers re-write the final season, so too another long-running saga is reaching its dismal climax, Theresa May’s ‘Game of Groans’.
In the penultimate episode of TV’s ‘Game of Thrones’ fantasy, the main character, the beloved Daenerys Targaryen, underwent a stark and highly improbable character transformation, morphing from a ‘breaker of chains’ and ‘protector of the realm’, into a mass murdering tyrant, thus paving the way for the male lead, the often-times heroic, but frequently infuriatingly wet, John Snow, to slip the stiletto blade of a dagger between her ribs and into her heart as he tearfully gave her one final kiss goodbye.
During her fictional rise to prominence as the ‘Khaleesi’, Daenerys of the House Targaryen, the Breaker of Chains and Mother of Dragons, was apparently full of good intentions, and so too was Theresa of the House of Commons, First of her name, upon her rise to the position of Prime Minister of our United Kingdom.
While one might draw parallels, in certain significant respects these two women could not have been more different; one young, confident and beautiful, the other, well past her prime, awkward and with an unfortunate habit of gurning nervously in front of the camera; one inspiring the willing devotion of thousands, the other, at best acquiring the reluctant support of the slimmest of parliamentary majorities, and at worst widely derided for her inability to inspire at all.
Whereas the fictional transformation of the ‘Khaleesi’ from passionately idealistic saviour of the people to that of war criminal was improbable and the product of a combination of lazy script writing and a politically motivated desire on the part of the writers to deny ‘Game of Thrones’ fans an ending in which a messianic and charismatic leader emerges as the heroine of the saga, the majority of the British public upon hearing Theresa May’s earlier pronouncements that ‘Brexit means Brexit’, and that ‘No deal is better than a bad deal’, have suspected all along that it was too much to expect Theresa to be true to her word.
And while millions now mourn the disappointing end of the ‘Game of Thrones’ drama, millions more are beginning to sigh with much pent up relief that Theresa May’s ‘Game of Groans’ is finally reaching a long overdue conclusion, and like her counterpart Daenerys, has finally been deserted by her friends and colleagues, and all that is left now is for her loyal husband Philip to metaphorically ‘slip a blade between her ribs’, by forcing her to face reality, that the mother of ‘Brexit-in-name-only’, has become literally ‘Leader in name only’, and her tenure at Number 10 is now effectively over.
In the European election being held today, it is widely expected that Nigel Farage’s Brexit Party will trounce the Pro-EU establishment parties and will make an almost clean sweep, winning the majority of the seats in the European Parliament. Farage is an enigmatic and somewhat problematic character as far as Nationalists are concerned, but there is no denying that he has discovered how to harness the intense passion felt by most of our people for freedom and self-determination and to direct that passion, like ‘Dragon Fire’, down upon those who would keep us in thrall to the EU.
Unlike ‘Game of Thrones’, ‘Game of Groans’ may yet have a popular and happy ending!

Game of Thrones was certainly a disappointing ending and Daenerys Targaryen’s change into evil murderess was nonsensical!! If only we could metaphorically rain down dragon fire on our vile political enemies!!

It puts the Tories in a difficult position. If they don’t deliver real Brexit now they’ll get wiped out at the next general election. Of course they may well let that happen; sacrificial lambs to the globalist cause.

Taking a deliberate decision to avoid viewing any modern drama or film, I am totally unacquainted with the “Games of Thrones”.
The Conservative Party has proved itself to be unpatriotic and compromised by its eager endorsement of Cultural Marxism, rather than upholding traditional values as evidenced by its support of “gay marriage” and transgendarism.It has proved ineffectual in halting mass immigration.
However Labour would prove even more disastrous for the country with its even more relaxed and reckless attitude towards mass immigration and has become a party which serves the interests of immigrants at the expense of its traditional white working class core base.Within this context it would always be better that the Conservatives remain in government.
The Brexit party is an unwelcome distraction and various factions from the left and right have formed a convenient if unholy alliance to enable its existence. Mr Farage has a certain talent like a skilled second hand car dealer but is lacking in integrity and is self-serving.He abandoned UKIP but still retained his seat as MEP rather than surrendering it. He then was prepared to lead a rival faction against his old party which had split the “leave” vote in the European elections and we are still awaiting the results.
It is doubtful that whoever becomes the leader of the Conservative party and thus Prime Minister will oversee a genuine departure from the EU.

The success of the Brexit Party only underlines, yet again, the importance of MSM influence in determining election outcomes. From Day One Farage has been wined, dined & feted by the Establishment; the red carpet has been rolled out for him umpteen times. It was so when he led the UKIP against the BNP, and now when he does the same against UKIP. Had the NF or the BNP attracted anything like the favourable coverage given to Farage they would probably now have been in power. And conversely had Farage been treated like the NF or BNP he would almost certainly be an unknown figure and not be where he is now.
This brings me to my main point – the need to create an alternative media to bypass the MSM stranglehold. This has been partially achieved in the US (Breitbart, Fox, etc). Apparently, Trump was not expecting to win in 2016 and was considering moving into this field had Killary Clinton won. The alternative media played a key role in his victory. But there is no sign of anything like this happening in the UK. We are not short of individuals with the requisite skills – writers, publicists, IT professionals, etc – to make this happen, but everyone seems intent on doing their own thing. And quite happy to go muddling along, moaning about everything & getting absolutely nowhere.
Politics is all about power, but to obtain power one needs influence first. Creating an alternative media would be a good first step in the right direction.

While the result of the European elections went much as predicted, I felt nothing but dismay and disillusionment at the UK results which frankly bears no comparison with those seen in other parts of Europe.
The UKIP performance was dismal and there was little support for Tommy Robinson, who was abused in every way by the establishment and its foot soldiers to the loud cheers of the MSM. So, in the end, the one trick pony Brexit Party came out on top. I doubt if the contenders for the Tory leadership lost any sleep over that as they know that under our retarded FPTP electoral system the sheeple will return to the pen when the next General Election is called. I doubt if it is even a wake-up call to Parliament as the Brexiteers contend.
The UK is unique amongst European nations in not having nationalist/traditionalist/heritage political party of influence speaking up for the indigenous population. And when they arrive on the scene NF/BNP/UKIP/whoever, they are vilified by the Establishment and ignored by the voters. There is no slow burn reaching a point when the natives suddenly become aware of their fate.The British peoples seem quite content with their genocide. The words of George Orwell seem to sum it up their attitude perfectly. ‘A people who elect corrupt politicians, imposters, and thieves are not victims, but accomplices.’
Now contrast this with the performance of the nationalist and populist political parties in Europe (I don’t consider the Brexit Party is deserving of either epithet). Look at the results of the National Rally in France, Lega in Italy, Fidesz in Hungary, Law & Justice Party Poland. AFD already is or close to becoming the largest party in Saxony and other areas of Eastern Germany. Slovakia has even sent two National Socialists to the European Parliament. The list goes on and so does identitarian progress. But not here.
As it stands at the moment, if another referendum on the UK’s membership of the EU were to be held, I would vote remain. The only people fighting too preserve European identity exist in the countries listed above, certainly not here. I think I would sooner put my trust in Salvini, Orban, Le Pen, Kotleba, Morawiecki, than Boris Johnson and his ilk.

Some good observations LJP. On your final point, I can understand why you feel the way that you do, for as time goes on, the answer to the question as to whether we are better off within the EU or outside, becomes increasingly clouded.
Within the EU we are governed undemocratically within a political system modelled on the Soviet Union and we are targeted for race replacement by adherents of the Coudenhove-Kalergi Plan, however racial nationalism appears to be making greater progress in continental Europe compared to the UK.
Outside of the European Union it is likely that we would either have a government led by Jeremy Corbyn, or one led by the likes of Nigel Farage or Boris Johnson. Either way, it is likely that the current assault upon racial nationalists will continue or intensify, and likely that predominantly White European immigration would be replaced by predominantly non-White Third World immigration on the same or a similar scale.
This is why, for the foreseeable future, we must apply ourselves to the building of broadly based racial nationalist groups in our local areas, which can form the bedrock of a future resurgence.
