Chaos is a Ladder

“Powers come up from the people. Parliament for the first time since 1910, when the Lords resisted the curtailing of their powers, is flying in the face of the people. Parliament will not survive. The key thing to remember is that representative democracy has to respect finally those who choose the representatives. They do not have the right simply to decide on a whim what they are going to do. That is what Parliament is doing and it is deadly, deadly serious. A parliament that gets in the way of government does not survive.”

Thus spake the well known historian Dr. David Starkey about the present paralysis afflicting our government. What was Starkey getting at with this alarming talk of parliament failing to survive the present crisis and the position being “deadly, deadly serious.” I suspect that he may have had in mind the catastrophic political situation which afflicted several countries in continental Europe in the aftermath of the First World War. The war had brought about the collapse of the political establishment in a number of countries, most notably Russia and Germany, and that collapse enabled people and movements which would previously have been kept very firmly in their (insignificant) places, to rise from the depths – new times, new people. More than a century earlier the French revolution had the same effect; it gave the world Napoleon Bonaparte, a man who in quieter times would probably have remained a gifted, but long forgotten officer in the French royal army. To borrow a quote from HBO’s Game of Thrones “chaos is a ladder”.

It would be absurd to stretch the parallel with our position too far. We have not suffered the loss of life, physical devastation and impoverishment which ravaged those countries a century ago. Our political crisis has, thank goodness, incurred no loss of life at all; not yet. But there was another factor at work in those countries which may lie in wait for us – national humiliation. Germany felt humiliated by the terms imposed on her at Versailles, and Hitler played on that humiliation incessantly in his early beer-hall days. Likewise Italy, although on the winning side, was unhappy with her share of the spoils and crippled by a chaotic succession of “democratic” governments, hence Mussolini.

It is not difficult to see how the manoeuvrings of a Remainer dominated parliament might inflict a humiliation on Britain, with our country dragged back into the EU against the will of more than half of the electorate; the Remain alliance which is now dominant in parliament might well install Corbyn as Prime Minister in the expectation that Labour will fulfil its policy of renegotiating the Withdrawal Agreement and then hold a second referendum in which Labour would campaign for Remain. The bitterness and division would poison our politics for a generation.

However that may be, Boris is beginning to look more and more like an interim figure, the Kerensky of our political revolution. Who or what will replace him we will discover in due course. But make no mistake, a revolution – a political revolution – is underway. Change is coming because it must, our long standing constitutional settlement has been trashed by parliament and its Speaker, the abominable Bercow, and a situation in which the legislature can prevent the government from doing its job will not continue indefinitely.

So what of nationalism in all of this? We are told, usually by the Left but sometimes by what passes for the Right in this country, that Boris’ government is “hard Right” or “extreme Right”. If only! If Boris somehow survives long enough he will take early steps to counter this “hard Right” slur by bringing forward his proposal to amnesty illegal immigrants, and parliament, for once, will not deny him. We know only too well that there is at present no sign of a genuine nationalist movement capable of taking advantage of the political revolution. The Left, much better organised and financed and with its creatures already installed in positions of power and influence is much better placed, but in the end the decency and common sense of ordinary folk will prevail, and that means that patriotism will prevail.

  1. Boris Johnson, the great white hope, has already abolished the time limit on foreign students. They can now stay for two years after graduating, which will enable them to start a family and make themselves un-deportable. Expect nothing from the Tories and you won’t be disappointed.

    1. Yes Bill, Boris has got himself boxed into a corner, ostensibly as a result of his own foolishness and lack of determination, but possibly as a result of duplicity and treachery on his part, and now appears to be abandoning ‘Brexit do or die’ for ‘any deal is better than him being left with egg on his face’.

Clearly, the Palace of Westminster, the Civil Service, the Judiciary and the BBC are stuffed with Fifth Columnists who have sold their souls to the EU and who are prepared to use every iota of their influence, and every constitutional ruse or impediment, to frustrate the will of the electorate as expressed in the 2016 referendum on EU membership.

What all this shows is how deeply the claws of the EU are embedded into the fabric of our nation. They are determined that by whatever means, they will not let the UK leave the EU without turning Brexit into a Pyrrhic victory — without causing us the maximum in disruption and national humiliation, and without making us effectively cede Ulster to them as the price for our eventual freedom and self-determination.

Any ‘club’ that is prepared to use that degree of coercion in order to prevent it’s members leaving, reveals itself as a kind of Mafia, demonstrating by it’s own actions an overriding reason why we need to get out — do, or die!

  2. I think Brexit has shown the limits of our representative democracy & probably confirmed to many that what is written on the tin isn’t contained within the tin.
Which is why I have suggested that if we stay in the EU, we might as well scrap the Houses of Parliament & turn it into a Museum of Democracy.
If the EU runs us, why have two wasteful expensive chambers to parrot what the EU issues to us?

If we leave the EU then a National Assembly for England is needed, I would quite happily give the Scottish true independence to stop them having such a negative effect on England, the latest being what the Scottish courts have ruled about proroguing Parliament.

Anyway if Parliament is recalled, nothing much will happen apart from a load of arguing, only a decisive General Election will settle things.
But if we get a hung Parliament again, then nothing is resolved.
My bet is for this election to happen is in the second half of November.

I think the choice is between leaving without a deal or remaining in the EU, I can’t see a deal ever being agreed between all those involved.
The Liberal Democrats have said they will never agree to leaving the EU even though they want a second referendum.

  3. This seems like a re-run of the early 20th Century, however, regardless of the opinions and actioning of protests, by ordinary people, my fear is this European “in or out” vote, was always going to be pure theatre for the masses.

There can never be a similar political revolution, or reboot, of the period leading up to WW11. Why? Because the powers that be, have already accomplished 75-80% of their planned destruction of Church, nation, and European ethnic groups.

In addition, they hold in their bloodied, greasy hands, the technology, credit/debt, distribution, and military might, required to crush opposition, domestically or abroad. The idea, that somewhere, sometime in the future, they will allow a White community, to even exist, never mind thrive, seems like an impossible dream.

    1. Actually John, It’s not an impossible dream, it is a current reality, and you are being defeatist.

Over vast swathes of Britain and other European countries, white communities already exist, if only by default. Our job is not to create them but simply to give them a new consciousness, to make them appreciate what they are and organise to ensure their continued survival.

  4. Caroline Flint, the MP for the Don Valley had supported the campaign to remain within the EU but had displayed a rare integrity. She had argued that we must leave in order to honour the 2016 referendum result otherwise there would remain a strong sense of betrayal which would do untold damage to the democratic process.Despite her values being diametrically opposite to mine, Caroline Flint has shown respect to the electorate in marked contrast to the Leader of the not so-Liberal Democrats and the sole Green MP, Caroline Lucas, together with the majority of the other remain MPs.

In the event of a general election, It may be as well to support the Brexit Party who may be able to win key Labour seats in the north and midlands. It would seem that for all the entertainment and theatre provided by the Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, a Brexit betrayal may well occur, namely a modification of the May Deal. This outcome would not meet the expectations of those who had campaigned to leave, and in some ways the terms could be considered worse than at present.

The Conservative Party has been complicit in permitting mass immigration and its previous voiced opposition has proved at best unreliable if not emphatically worthless. It is now expected that a prominent politician would extol the benefits of mass immigration and the supposed positive contributions of all migrants, and Boris Johnson had confirmed this practise during the leadership campaign. Furthermore his abolition of the time limits to foreign students who have graduated further suggests that little can seriously be expected from the Conservatives.

Even the civic “nationalist” parties of UKIP and the Brexit Partry are in favour of “controlled” immigration which gives little cause for confidence. We are awaiting our very own Victor Orban or Matteo Salvini, despite being temporarily removed from office, and it is certain that Mr Johnson is not that person!

  5. You are absolutely correct, Max. I am being defeatist. However, it is with good reason. From the early 20th century, right up until Barberra Lerner-Specter’s recent bragging, about “Europe not surviving”, if it does not go full multi-cultural, we have seen the sheer hatred that will not stop, until we are literally gone from Earth.
Colonel House, actually proposed that “no where on Earth, will there be allowed a homogenous society”.

Genetically, we are still in tact to a large degree. However, the enforced system of racial destruction, is not only physical, through mixed-breeding, rapes, and a willingness to breed without constraints, such as traditional “Mom, Dad, 2.4 children” etc, but mind-bending propaganda and so-called, “education”, are having a devastating effect.
Considering the above, where exactly on Earth, would we prosper?

    1. You are looking for the ‘where’, when you should be focusing on the ‘how’, and the answer is for us to adopt the customs and culture that will enable us to survive and prosper as an ethnic minority living among an ethnic majority.

Who do we see doing that now? And how do they do it?

  6. ” WEDDING IN WHITELANDIA….( EARLY SEPTEMBER )……Just watched ordinary hillbilly wedding party enter the church. For the last hour from my window across the street; watched those arriving, parking and attending. About 100 relatives / guests, etc. NOT ONE PINCH OF ANYTHING BUT WHITE. As far as this boy is concerned, “hillbillies” and their families built much of rural North America into pleasant liveable areas, keeping the green. I use the term with TOTAL RESPECT. Hence there is SOLID hope in these Minden Hills of Haliburton County, Ontario, CANADA. “

  7. ” Boris is beginning to look more and more like an interim figure, the Kerensky of our political revolution. Who or what will replace him we will discover in due course.”

Yes, that is an astute remark to compare BoJo to the weak liberal lawyer-politician Kerensky, who unwittingly opened the door in 1917 Russia to Lenin’s Bolshevik take-over of that unhappy country.

I have no doubt that, as the writer suggests, the manoeuvrings of the Remainer-dominated parliament will lead by one route or another to a second referendum which the Remainers will then win…win numerically that is, by obtaining more votes than the demoralized, cheated Brexit Leave voters. The result will be seventeen million disenfranchised and angry Britons in an utterly divided society, the likes of which has not been seen since the English Civil War of the 1640s, a war which involved the whole of Britain: England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland, just as does the present imbroglio.

  8. The Judiciary has amply demonstrated by the ruling of the Supreme Court that it is neither impartial or neutral but has chosen to pontificate and interfere in the decision taken by the Executive to prorogue Parliament. The judiciary is part of the corrupt and contemptible establishment which will make every effort to prevent the UK leaving the equally corrupt and detestable EU.

Ironically Mr Johnson’s position may be strengthened if the situation is perceived as a battle between the people and parliament and that he is being thwarted in delivering the referendum mandate of 2016.A Tory/ Brexit party alliance may be needed to expedite the will of the people against the shameless and contemptible establishment. Viva Johnson! Viva Farage!

  9. The enemy is doing precisely what an enemy should be doing and that is exterminating the opposition – they appear mighty and lay down laws for us in they same fashion as man makes law for his dog. But in reality the enemy are petite and we are not dogs so something is terribly wrong.

Total unification of all nationalist movements across the West. We are white. We do not tribe or have borders.

    1. I appreciate your sentiments Kenny, but unifying all nationalist groups, even just here in the UK has so far proven impossible.
