I announce the nomination of well known and highly popular nationalist writer, speaker, thinker, artist and raconteur, Alex Kurtagic for the 2014 Jonathan Bowden Oratory Prize, for the speech he made at the London Forum in April 2013 in memory of Jonathan Bowden and to  mark the first anniversary of Jonathan’s death.

Alex is the author of a novel entitled ‘Mister’, he is also a reproducer of classical books and is a frequent contributor to the ‘Occidental Observer’, ‘Alternative Right’, ‘Counter Currents’, ‘American Renaissance’, ‘VDARE’ and ‘Taki Magazine’, and the speech for which he is nominated was highly appreciated by the audience at the London Forum.

  1. As Alex is about to bring out a biography of Jonathan he must be in the running, apart from which he’s a pretty good speaker himself.

  2. I’m a bit late to this nomination party, but I wondered whether Alex Kurtagic would be in there for nomination. I am glad to find that he is, and so far, he is likely to be the one I favour.
    .
In my opinion he has been one of the biggest breaths of fresh air in the nationalist movement for decades, and he is also quite a good speaker.
    .
I purchased the set of National Policy Institute videos a few years ago, which contained the famous “Masters of the Universe” speech. I think it was one of his first public speeches, and what an entrance to the circuit it was.
    .
A recent one he gave at the Traditional Britain Group was also pretty good, as was one at “Identitar 4” discussing different types of collapse scenario.
    .
Alex is a funny and animated speaker that helps keep an audience engaged and alive. On this, he runs rings around many a circuit speaker.
    .
He also brings to the forefront observations about our movement, critique of our movement and thus rightly upsets some of the dogmas of routes (and thought) that tend to dominate it.
    .
The combination of these things makes him a worthwhile and likely choice for myself. I am surprised that there has not been more commentary upon this nominee. The attached video is not one I have seen before, but is equally good and engaging as some of the others I have seen.
