It surely cannot be coincidence that the recent article by Max Musson “Staying Safe and Remaining Active in a Hostile World”, and the video by Mark Collett embedded in Max’s article, came so soon before the banning of National Action (NA) for alleged “terrorist” activities. Nor have the wise words of Max and Mark been more sorely needed.[NB. For the sake of clarity, there is no suggestion here of collusion with the security services, simply that both authors could ‘see the writing on the wall’ in terms of the state ramping up its counter-measures to suppress nationalist activity. Ed.]
I know little of National Action beyond what has appeared in the newspapers, and I have no idea whether or not the organization has “encouraged or celebrated” terrorist activities. If one believes the newspapers, NA celebrated the death of Jo Cox. As that was certainly a politically motivated killing it gave sufficient justification in the eyes of the Home Office for a ban. And the Home Office knows that neither NA nor the nationalist movement generally has the wherewithal to challenge the ban, nor are there likely to be human rights lawyers queuing up to offer their pro bono services. So there’s no point in arguing the rights and wrongs of the ban – it’s happened and it’s not going away.
Yes, it is wrong that outfits like Unite Against Fascism and the Socialist Workers Party escape such bans. Not only do they incite political violence – we’ve all seen those “Smash the Tories/Smash the Nazis” banners – but they carry it out too; why else do nationalists have to go to such lengths to conceal the whereabouts of our meetings? I doubt if it’s because we’re afraid that a few silly girl students (of both genders and none) with purple hair will throw rude words at us. But they haven’t been banned and they’re not going to be. So no point in complaining about unfairness either.
NA was a nationalist youth movement and nationalism needs a movement which is specifically, or very largely, for young people. Why? Well, as I have not been young for a very long time (and even when I was I was a rather peculiar young man) it may seem odd that I should try to offer advice on such a thing, but here goes. I suspect that the most important reason is so that young people can do things and say things which upset the grown ups; which are, in other words “transgressive”. That attracts publicity and grows the movement.
But as Mark Collett has pointed out, for young nationalists especially there are very great dangers in being transgressive. According to the newspaper reports, NA rushed headlong into those dangers by openly embracing Naziism, and there is nothing more certain to destroy any political movement, and the lives of those involved in it, than a touch of Adolf. NA seems to have given us a great deal more than a touch.
So where is the alternative which manages both to avoid Hitlerism and the advocacy of violence while being transgressive? I am not generally a fan of things continental, and was of course an ardent supporter of Brexit (the merciful deliverance as I prefer to call it), but surely we could learn a lesson from the Generation Identity youth movement which flourishes in a number of continental countries? Those countries very often have more restrictive laws and a more hostile mainstream media than our own, to say nothing of antifa and anarchist movements more numerous and active than their British equivalents. Yet nationalist youth movements, including Generation Identity, flourish there in a way which – for the moment – is unthinkable here. Is it possible to imagine a British nationalist or patriotic movement getting 45% of the votes of 18 to 29 year olds? No, of course not, but it has just happened to the Freedom Party candidate in the Austrian presidential election! If we study how that came to pass, then there is hope that we could emulate it.

Many extreme left-wing organisations that should have been banned in the past for ‘extreme’ violence and have been allowed to exist by the corrupt establishment come to mind. Just to mention two of the worst cases, we have the Animal Liberation Front whose members committed numerous arson attacks, then we have the IRA supporting Red Action two of whose members set off bombs in the west end of London on behalf of the IRA. Mind you neither group was ‘anti-Semitic’, so that is ok isn’t it ?

I actually predicted this a year ago and wrote an article about just how the new terrorism laws would affect nationalist organisations. It’s been on the cards for several years now. Let me draw a parallel here. Up to 2009, the BNP and National Front were considered by the establishment as not too much of a risk. They did not fare well in elections but by 2009, the mass immigration imposed on the UK by 13 years of Blair and Brown, were beginning to make waves with the public. When people see their own countries standard of living slide and their own go without, people turn from the generous, into the questioning. This saw the Zenith of nationalism unfold. In 2009, the BNP saw two members elected as Euro MEP’s, Griffin and Bron’s along with over 60 council seats won. The BNP constitution had never been challenged before in it’s 29 year history, which excluded non whites from membership. Following the Euro elections in 2009, it was only a year before the 2010 General Election was due in the May of 2010. The establishment feared that if Griffin and Bron’s could be elected in those seats to the European Parliament, then there was every chance, they would be elected by the same people into Westminster as British MP’s. The very thing, they could not have, ie, the far right in Westminster. Harriet Harman of the Labour Cabinet then challenged the BNP constitution as illegal, yet, tellingly, did not challenge the same constitution policy on non white membership, in the National Front. They remain unchallenged and able to bar Indian interlopers from joining. Bearing in mind, at the time of the legal challenge, the BNP were a year away from the General election, and what better way to deter them from fighting the election, than to waste all party funds in legal fee’s. They assumed, Griffin would fight this challenge right to the House of Lords but instead, he simply changed the constitution to order until in 2010, the High Court ruled, the BNP continued. So, that tactic didn’t work and would not work in the future. Since 2009, the BNP, sadly slid into decline, brought about by splits during leadership challenges. While this was going on, UKIP were on the rise. Anyone who claims UKIP was a safety valve for the establishment and infiltrated by Zionists, is naive in the extreme and shows their complete ignorance of British nationalism. If UKIP were indeed the controlled safety valve, Brexit would never have won. We can do without these ridiculous false claims from people with absolutely no experience of our countries movement. Their claptrap and mutterings, bordering on the absurd damage our movement and they certainly do not speak on behalf of any of us. However, with the rise of UKIP, and the turmoil we now see with leaders and defections, there was a real possibility of a split into a breakaway party, unanswerable to the party whips. In other words, UKIP breakaway party could just see an approach further to the right. Having not been able to bring down the BNP in 2009, and with the rise of more and more aggressive forms of protesting, something had to be done. National Action has not committed any violent acts as yet, and certainly, no acts of terrorism. I very much doubt, they would do as such. Their ban and illegal status, can be seen more as a deterrent to those engaging or thinking of engaging the same. It’s set a precedent by this action that others will be fearful of being viewed the same. Yet, the desired effect will not be all nationalist organisations moderating their actions and words, but, drive them underground, making them more difficult to track and more attractive to the followers. We have seen this with Muslim hate preachers and illegal terrorist Orgs in the UK. Very sadly, the death of Jo Cox has been a golden egg to the far left with public donations even being handed to the White Helmets and Hope Not Hate. While National Action are proscribed, other far left, violent Orgs such as the UAF, continue with their history of real violence and mayhem. The Far Right did not cause Jo Cox’s murder nor play any part. Many elements led to her death such as the ignoring of her fears when receiving threats for months and the NHS and government failing mentally ill patients such as her killer. I did not want to see a young mother die so violently. Her death was horrific and we must never lose sight of the fact that a young woman lost her life because of her views. We all have our views and views that offend others. Yet, she has been used in the most disgusting propaganda that i have seen in many a year. It was not Jo Cox per say who was responsible for the UK sliding into a third world state, but a nation of useless leaders and politicians that ignored the people’s concerns over mass immigration. The hatred in her killer did not plant it’s seed because of her alone, but because of actions brought about by our leaders. ie, 13 years of Labour opening the borders and joining the EU 40 years ago, that allowed Brussels to dictate how many, we took every year regardless of fiscal ability to house them. Add to that, a culture of fear that was created and ingrained so deeply into the minds of the people, that no one dare question the open door policies. Now we are seeing the ramifications of such actions. It’s not Jo Cox or her killer that has brought about the banning of National Action, or the imprisonment of Paul Golding this week, or Joe Owens you tube account, shut down, it is the very action of ignoring a nations concerns by leaders. What they did was to create a petri dish in which the likes of Thomas Mair, and National Action thrive and grow. The only question that should be asked, is why, they grow. In that, they will find themselves looking in the mirror. I predicted a year ago that there would be a bloodbath of nationalists and Organisations in the UK. It’s begun.

My fear is that a majority of Greeks will not awaken to the fact that their country teeters on the edge of the Abyss, and that, ever so slowly, forces beyond the comprehension of the average man and woman will tear the fabric of the Greek Race Soul to shreds, and nothing is more terrifying than to wake up in the middle of the night, and find yourself drifting amidst the seas of Chaos and Anarchy, throngs of marauders violating women and children left and right, and the general populace at a standstill, with all hopes and dreams dashed against the cliffs of what once was. My aspiration in this lifetime is to rally the best among us, and counter these minions of Those Who Must Be Obeyed, in a war which will determine the final outcome, but there is a catch: We must be the victors, else, all is lost, and we will be relegated to a footnote in a history book. The group known as National Action (RIP) was proscribed not for being ‘Hitler worshppers’ but because of three obviously satirical jokes and memes posted on Twitter. These posts featured a still from the video game GTA Vice City, a cartoon frog, and thotposting (in one case a personal account). In the Wake of the event the media reported that there were 60,000 such twitter posts – it is a reflection of the growing culture that we live in and I had heard no so-called nationalist, not even Jo Owens warn others that satire was a life and death issue that had to be abandoned. Quite the opposite, everyone has been singing the praises of the alt-right during the campaign to elect Donald Trump, though not all of them quite got it.
You can easily find the legislation about the ban on the government’s website, and the twitter posts are the entire basis of the case invalidating the claims made by many others on the subject who are referencing totally irrelevant material. This humour is not fringe, it is mainstream and if it had in any way reflected the way the report and the media had portrayed them then there would have been criminal charges levelled against the posters which has not been the case. A week and a half ago I don’t think you would have found a single informed individual who would believe a meme on twitter could get a whole organisation labelled as a terrorist group.
As Julie Lake pointed out this was comparable to the litigation against the BNP by the Human Rights Commission which did not fall on any other racial organisation – entirely new sets of rules drawn up to take out a nationalist organisations when they start to gain ground. Indeed the case that was drawn up by a team working with the Sunday Times initially also recommended the ban of the North West Infidels for what were in my opinion much worse comments, and theoretically these lawyers tricks can be used against anyone if needed.
Hindsight is 20-20, so I really don’t appreciate people rolling their eyes and explaining how such and such ‘could have been avoided’, as the attempt to play ‘catch up’ by malicious higher powers which seek to persecute nationalists of any kind is a never ending struggle. The only insurance against that is strength, will, and adaptability, a trait of National Socialism.
The group/model that you are lauding here broke up and appeared to dissapear for an entire year when the government ‘only’ discussed banning the group after the occupation of a Mosque of Poutiers and the Socialist Party Headquarters. I am not criticising, anyone willing to stick their neck out at all is deserving of support but this article illustrates the perception of many who would enthusiastically support such organisations based on the perception that it is somehow anymore safe and risk free. This is dangerous and irresponsible, people need to be fully informed about just how serious what it is they are getting into beforehand, especially as we are now under continental policing methods; mass arrests, cyberpolicing, bans etc. There is only one way to play it safe, and that is to be ineffectual, under the radar, and watch as your people go quietly into the night – telling yourself that you are making a difference makes that easier but it is not the right thing to do.
People need to not give into grief, this was a really clumsy and reactionary response by the government – all the leftists from Vice Magazine, Hope Not Hate, etc have all expressed this concern. Although NA pre-emptively dissolved in it’s entirety just less than a week ago, I am already thinking ‘whatever, it was fun while that lasted’.
Realistically I am of the opinion that this measure will massively backfire. In a libertarian society I don’t think a group like NA would have ever gotten off the ground, without the adversity it would have been impossible to impose any standards. Men of our race have overcome much much worse persecutions than this because adversity is what strengthens movements and ideas. Thank the gods for the Campaign Against Antisemitism and Amber Rudd.

National Action activities were carried out with forthright determination (against a wicked foe) and have been a delight to watch as a casual observer and at times made some of us chuckle a bit.
One day, hopefully not too far into the future, all the brave youngsters of NA will be generously rewarded, with their dreams of the salvation our race coming true.

The Government can really do nothing more than force ever more draconian laws upon the population. A result of that could mean more people question why they have to have these “British values” that seem to be bringing nothing for them.
It’s the new slogan to make everyone feel good about handing over their heritage, it’s British values, so it’s ok.
They may start to make connections as to why only certain groups are given freedom to do and say as they choose, to organise for their people alone.
People can openly celebrate the death of those who voted Leave on their twitter accounts, and make innuendo’s to that on BBC programmes.
Satire, free speech etc. are all fine in that instance, British values.

It does not matter what approach you take the moment you become a threat you’ll be shut down. The real tragedy of this entire situation is that we could take back our country within 24 hours if enough people are willing to fight to take it back. The power that rules over us isn’t as strong as everyone thinks, the power is mostly an illusion, and there are far more people angry about all this than most of us realise. In Germany the government absolutely crapped themselves when a few thousand men marched on their parliament recently, they thought a coup was happening – it really exposed how weak and vulnerable they are. Freedom will not come any other way and I’m so tired of reading or hearing about all these empty plans for salvation. I liked National Action as they showed guts I haven’t seen in a long time but change won’t come peacefully, it never does.

It was claimed by a representative of the Austrian Peoples Party that, in the recent election, the Freedom Party presidential candidate, Norbert Hofer, lost by a small margin to his Green opponent because he was constantly berated by his enemies as a “Nazi”. The fact of the matter is that he’s no more a Nazi than the average UKIP member. Nevertheless, the hysterics of the Antifa movement, and the more sinister mentors behind them, have once again shown that, whether true or false, the “Nazi” tag is an effective psychological weapon. For this reason we have conclude that our opponents are not going cease using the “Nazi” tag out of respect for the truth. Why should they agree to surrender their most powerful psychological weapon? We will never make the word “Nazi” respectable to those who hate us and the Aryan Race anyway, But, by treating National Socialism with respect and acting as ambassadors for our Racial ideology we can neutralize the corrosive effect of their venom.
Although, I was happy to support National Action out of respect for it’s right of free speech and respect for the courage of its participants, I hope that the recent banning will give some of its adherents pause for thought before appearing, however tongue in cheek, to condone violent or criminal behaviour. There’s a world of difference between Hitler’s genuine National Socialism and what we might now call “Hollywood Nazism”.

The proscribing of National Action serves the interests of Government as it shows that it is taking decisive steps not only against Islamic terrorism but also against the so-called “far right”. The impact and danger posed by National Action has been much exaggerated and for propaganda purposes is treated as posing the same threat as radical Islamic groups. This convenient circumstance allows the Government to exaggerate future threat levels and may allow them to proscribe future nationalist organisations. The warnings by Mr Musson and Mr Collett are timely and apply especially to young people who may be prone to act rashly when greater caution is often required. It was commendable that NA attracted the youth to its cause who were not convinced by the values offered by Cultural Marxism and who were instead drawn to older values like patriotism and ethnic pride. It is inevitable that new outlets will develop to express this emerging awareness quite at odds with so-called progressive values.

Back in June 2014 in the comment section of Western Spring’s first article on National Action I gave an analysis of how a particular behaviour or MO would best serve any active movement. It was a genuine word of concern for European people to consider in order for them to be most effective given the arena we are in and the enemy we face, it was to serve as a word of wisdom in how best to arm themselves to attack the system while adopting a forthright message that allowed sustainability and to outmanoeuvre the establishment thus remaining available to deliver a sustained attack, that would prove fatally toxic to the system while advantageous to growth from more of our people. I am not British and so would not presume to tell you how to run your affairs, however any European has an interest in the survival of their extended European family. Regrettably I saw this coming, but often, all you can do is give your opinion or well-intentioned advice while people must learn for themselves by practical experience.
The following is the comment with some very minor editing for contextual clarification or spelling:

Was National Action set up with the same goals as Germany’s immortals? The immortals have a strong group who created new banners, symbols and platforms that could attract from all sectors of society and seems to be doing so.
It seems that once you become known as a neo-nazi group, you attract a certain percentage of followers but then you hit a glass ceiling. Marxists have had 70 years of brainwashing the masses, they have had the advantage of painting themselves as the glorious saviours of humanity against an evil “nazi” monster. Despite this, because they are an ideology that is extreme (or perceived to be), they have only ever managed to get a certain percentage of the mainstream support and the rest being fringe lunatics, they never get above that certain percentage.
How much more so is this the case for the monsters – the NSDAP or groups clearly identifying themselves as such and groups painted as neo-nazis. Golden Dawn works in Greece because Greeks are rock bottom economically and Golden Dawn are providing real help and defence against immigrant attacks. Golden Dawn will not work anywhere else until conditions are the same as Greece, because then the people are broken from the mainstream lies and spells and see reality and truth. But we in the rest of Europe are not there. However a slight fine tuning of a Golden Dawn type group does have a better chance of success. All you have to do is drop the overt stuff, outright blatant neo-nazi references.
As soon as you give a roman salute, display neo-nazi paraphernalia, you attract a certain amount of people and then that is it, any mainstream who would be open to anti-immigration and anti multi-cult, stay away from such a group. Our countries are too small, the populace too convoluted to invite the hassle, stress, ostracisation this would involve. One can say those are the people we do not need, but then you will always be on the margins, on the fringes.
Moreover a lot of the people who do get drawn to such groups, are those who have bought the Hollywood narrative and fake image of what “nazism” is. The image of the murderous, psycho, sadistic killer monsters. Apart from the minority and rare, capable and on-form stalwarts, the only others it attracts are the inadequate fringe, margin-of-society types. These types need a sense of power, they are drawn to the Hollywood stereo-type “nazi” groups. These types are low quality cannon fodder who do not have any self-sacrificial bone or effort to contribute, rather, they become part of a hate-fest venting group whose actions further alienate public support or any sort of sympathy and support we might get. They are effective fish-scarers. They are selfish people who join such groups for their own deficient and dysfunctional needs. These needs are to satiate their own day to day egotistical manoeuvrings, angers, petty jealousies and spiteful eruptions, in order to feel more power and feed those power-trip hungers in their own life. They are without a care or thought to the damage their own actions have on the cause of White survival in the greater scheme of things and larger picture. Their need is to feel part of a group who they feel gives them a sense of power. Such people melt away in the face of any sign of stronger opposition, they are not the “300” who will stand in the face of higher numbers. They are the type who would turn-coat and become part of the anti-fascists if and when it dawns on them, that they can just as easily feed their need to feel powerful on the numerically higher side, with less risk to themselves because of those higher numbers.
For White Natinionalist groups such as National Action, adopting new motifs, banners, heraldry would possibly be the wiser and faster path to attracting larger numbers of quality members. National Action have every right and opportunity to express themselves in a White nationalist manner that is non compromising and bold. This should be possible without a need of any symbolism of different times, former eras. Maybe they are right, maybe they should just say what they want, in a purist outright manner, perhaps that will strike a chord with the masses, perhaps the times are right for this. I do not know, I don’t think times will every be right for it, unless it is all out war, which I do not think is going to happen, we are in a slowly boiling pot scenario, where the people being boiled never jump out of the pot because they never realise they are being boiled or are too afraid to act, they are deers in the headlights. Telling them the truth, will not change that, they want permission to change, to act, we have to take them by the hand and do it in a way that gives them permission to follow. All I do know is, it has been done many many times before, each time ending the same way. I thought National Action were Britain’s answer to the more sophisticated continental and Scandinavian versions, with new and appealing symbolism, whilst still boldly stating their opposition to immigration and multi-cult, and calling it out as invasion etc.
Again praise must be given to these people for simply acting, but it has come to the point where acting is not enough, if we are to act, we must use our Aryan intelligence to inform our actions, to be a force multiplier and out-chess our enemies, this is what terrifies them and the precise reason they are multi-culting us out of existence in the first place. We must act in a certain manner and present ourselves in a certain way. Our actions must have an impact far above their weight division. It is no longer acceptable to merely act in a way that is a wild lash out or is self-indulgent to our need to express a fetish nazism or egotistically showboat what is controversial for a dysfunctional need for attention. All good for release for our personal frustration, but does our action set us back 2 more steps. Are we trading personal short term release of stress for long term further tightening of the knot of invasion and multi-cult stranglehold on our race, with any or every action we take? Our actions must be clever, considered and strike a blow which truly releases the knot with act. It is my conclusion roman salutes and other 1930’s era outright symbolism tightens the knot. One step forward, personal short term gratification, but 2 steps back and long term tightening of the knot. We must recognise the long term implications, one battle won may in fact lose you the war, we must think stragetically and act tactically. We must engage our Aryan chess intelligence. But again, National Action have done great noteworthy acts and they must be praised for such. I think they only need some fine tuning in the above regard. Remember outright reference to 1930’s symbolism does not mean no swastika-like symoblism at all, for example use of some British indigenous swastika-like symbol would be very effective and still state boldly the truth of the matter and their unashamed stance against the bullsh!t of the establishment, evoking a real radical yet sophisticated platform that all classes could relate to – the bloodright of the ancient indigenous Britons.
I think it was Adolf Hitler who commented that we should not hark back to former times, when fighting for the present. While it was nice to look back at the vikings and knights, he found it outlandish that any party member would dress up as such, except in festivals expressly celebrating such ancestors. But for the here and now, he would have advocated using what works, what is practical to get your fight won, according to the times, era and culture you live in. Any harking back to what the NSDAP used has quickly seen that group suicided with the speed of a kamikazi. It is as much use as telling the already petrified sheep to move to the part of the field where they have been told the wolf is waiting to devour them. We already know the reaction to this, time to use other tactics and present ourselves in the manner that attracts, only then can you win converts who will be zealous adherents of the facts. Others have compromised too much, others not enough, there is a nice balance, many have not got. We do not have to be like UKIP or others who have compromised far too much, nor should we, but a little bit more tinkering and fine tuning of the presentation and way we put our message across is all the difference, it is the difference in genes between the races, a tiny amount makes all the difference. Once you have attracted, it is only a matter of time before those who been drawn to you, become the racially aware warriors of tomorrow.”
